Hailey Hult’s “Purpose for a Pup”

Did you know, each breed has been created for different working purposes? We frequently refer to the book called Dog Bible™ The Definitive Source for All Things Dog; in the book they categorize breeds into seven families with the breeds natural abilities and instincts. From there, I formulate a plan for each dog based on activity level and temperament.

While the more common answer is that a dogs purpose is to be man’s companion, humans have created all different breeds for a variety of purposes. Hey everyone, we are getting everything ready for our 2nd Open House here at The National Instinctive Obedience Dog Trainers Association!

We will be providing burgers and hot dogs, a fun little ball pit, ring toss, goodie bags, and some Dog Demos as well!

Everyone Welcome GRACIE THE GOLDEN for training! She came in on Saturday and has been doing amazing!

Her family is one we have worked with for around 25 years! Various members of their family have brought and trusted us to train their dogs.

This is what being a small local business means to me. Getting to work with your families for generations; knowing our community and you knowing us.

Took the house dogs for an evening walk in EI tonight! It was Butch the Malinois’s first time in Emerald Isle.

was a bit put out that we didn’t go down to the beach!

With the extreme heat we’ve been experiencing we have been keeping the dogs in the AC, however, that much time inside isn’t beneficial to the pups - so throughout the day we have been letting them out to play in some cool water! 💦
