The toxicology experts at Pet Poison Helpline have released their annual list of the Top 10 Pet Poisons of 2024 based on actual caller data. While the results were very similar to 2023, For dogs, Bromethalin (rodenticide) moved from 5th place to 3rd place, and Carprofen moved from 10th place to 9th place. This month our pet of the month is Kreia! ❤️ This accomplished pup is such a beauty. Here is a little bit about Kreia from her family.

Kreia's "mom" was used to super high-energy dogs and researched her breed for over three years before getting one. She was carefully and specially matched to give her mom exactly what she wanted and could handle in a dog. Her most favorite things to do are Scent Work/ Nosework, dock diving, agility (especially weave poles!), getting massages from her favorite masseuse, and tormenting her pack mates. She doesn't like a lot of foods and can be a picky eater, but other than that she's ready for just about anything- especially if it means tagging along with her "mommy," anywhere and anytime. Last year she earned her AKC Scent Work Master title and her first qualifying Detective runs, and is looking forward to all the Scent Work training and trials she can get in this year.
