Despite having adoption specials, our shelter is still beyond capacity with more animals flowing in.

Our shelter is currently caring for more than 130 dogs and more than 400 cats on site. We also have over 600 pets in foster care that we are providing for.

🆘This is an urgent situation!!🆘

What we need:

⚠️ ADOPTERS! $10 adoptions will continue all week. We have so many amazing pets looking for families; if you or someone you know is considering adding a pet to your family, please stop in and visit our shelter. You can read more about adoptions here:

FOSTER HOMES: Do you have a couch that one of our pets can crash on for a while? Fostering is an awesome opportunity for a Shelter Pets; not only does it get the pet out of the shelter, give them a break from shelter life and open up his or her cage for one waiting to take that spot, but it allows you to spotlight the adoptable pet and help us find a home for him or her

DONATIONS: We are always in need of supplies to help us care for our pets like dry and canned dog food and dry and canned cat and kitten food. Chiropractic for your animal offers them a non surgical, drug free option for many musculoskeletal injuries...both acute and chronic. Often times our pets will develop tight muscles, restricted vertebra and associated pain, just like us humans do. They obviously can't tell us when they're hurting but their behavior will be what alerts us to a problem. Hesitancy to move, excessive licking in the area of pain, avoiding steps/jumping, tucked tail are a few indications your pet is experiencing some discomfort. Most of us are so in tune with our fur babies, that these signs are easy to pick up but please don't ignore them. Call your primary vet or myself to discuss if chiropractic is a good option! Your pets will be happier for it...just take it from Ed!

These are 2 of the therapy horses at theDREAM Park Gloucester County’s beautiful Therapeutic Riding Center. Pictured are Dove and Flash and they help children and adults with a variety of special needs through the riding program. I had the pleasure of working on them(and Jack, not pictured ) to ensure they are happy and comfortable as they continue to help so many in our community!

Hey Facebook! Let’s get reacquainted!

My name is Dr. Nick. I am the owner and sole provider for Apex Animal Chiropractic and Apex Chiropractic (human services coming soon!).

I am a Kingsway graduate. Go Dragons! I completed my Bachelor’s degree at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland with an Exercise Science degree. I then continued my studies at Life University in Marietta, Georgia graduating in 2014 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic.

This past summer I decided to take a risk and pursue a certification in Animal Chiropractic. I attended Options for Animals in Wellsville, Kansas to complete the 220 hour certification program and also completed certification through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

I am currently traveling throughout New Jersey to treat Equine and small animal patients. I am so excited to bring this knowledge back to this community.

We have less than FIVE open kennel spaces. We are at total capacity! There are more than 300 cats and dogs here on site!

To help us clear the shelter, all adoption fees are donation based from now until Sunday (pay-what-you-can)! PLEASE JUST COME HERE AND COME IN - you can meet all of our animals and find the right match for you.

If you can’t adopt or foster but still want to help us, add this post to your story! Every time someone shares it, it *dramatically* increases our chances of getting these sweet souls out of the noisy shelter and into a home! 🙏
