I've been so busy with puppies and cleaning I hope to update with photos soon. This week Trixie and Reece have went to their new homes and both are adjusting well. It makes it easier knowing the people they are with are amazing. 2 litters are now combined and beginning to learn to use the larger litter pan. So far so good. As they get better at using it it will be moved farther away to allow for more room. I will take photos of the younger puppies soon. ♡

Don't panic if you see these red spots on your furbabies bellies.

With the warmer weather beginning, you may start noticing small (1 inch diameter) almost round red marks on your dog's belly.
These bullseye patterned marks on the underside of their dog, are often caused by a species of gnat that emerges from the grass and bites the dog. The bites cause a bullseye mark that many confuse with a bullseye rash caused by the Lyme disease bacteria. It is important to note that dogs do not develop a bullseye rash with Lyme disease exposure, only people do.
As angry as the gnat bites look, they usually do not bother the dog to any noticeable degree. If you do think your dog is a little itchy, you can try giving it a bath in oatmeal based pet shampoo. More pronounced itching may need to be evaluated by a veterinarian. We know that these bites are alarming to see, but if there are no other problems with your dog, it is reasonable to monitor the situation, and the bites should go away in a couple of days. The gnats are generally seasonal, being most problematic in the spring, but it is possible to see bites on your dog throughout the summer. Avoiding grassy areas while the gnats are prevalent is the best defense for your dog.

My two unplanned litters are likely to be born this evening/ tomorrow morning. Almost to the day Lady and Daisy had their litters last March right after another. Looks like these girls got into trouble the same day. Lol. Please send well wishes for the mamas. I've been very busy and will try to update with photos soon. Nursery is going to be full but I'm prepared.♡ 🐾

After a very long and stressful night of rushing Willow to the emergency vet she is home now recovering but a big scare. Mastitis. Something we haven't dealt with yet. Thankfully it was caught in time and she is doing a lot better. Please send good thoughts and prayers. This week has been filled with some surprises and scares and blessings and reminders that breeding can be heartbreaking and filled with worry. We have some beautiful pups that will be ready the end of April and mid May. We will also be retiring a few of our females this year and if you are interested in a cuddlebug please send a message ♡ 🐾

Little Miss Lola Rae is our first baby to take a little plane trip to their new home. All the way to Alaska! Her family has anxiously been waiting for her, and a very amazing friend of theirs made it happen. ✈️ 🐾 💛🤎💛
