Merritt Equine Merritt Equine raises quality quarter/paint horses for halter, western, english, cutting and ranch riding as well as speed events.

We raised our ranch horses for some years and in about 2000 started breeding quality paint and quarter horses. All of our paint horses are also registered as quarter horses. Since then we have been breeding for most of the riding disciplines that have confirmation that can compete in the halter arena. As well as good looks and ability, we are breeding horses that are quiet and friendly with good m

inds. We have shown several of our horses with several superior horses and many class winners. We want you to like our horses as we do, if you don't like a horse you buy from us for any reason, you can bring it back-assuming he wasn't damaged in some way while you had him.

After a big win at the Bitterroot Race at Pocatello Downs on Friday, M E Easy Jet This was entered into the Jerome County Fair 4H Showmanship class for horses 5 & under. Shown by Amorrette Garcia on Saturday, this was a halter pattern class where Amorrette and Jet were asked to trot, walk, back and pivot. A huge congratulations to Amorrette and Jet for their Grand Champion win!!

M E Talkin Trash was sold and left for his new home to join his full brother, M E Specks Cutter! They are both by Third Cutting and out of our stunning cutting bred mare Smart Kisser.
