At Willow Creek Farm we help people of all ages learn all elements of horse care and horseback riding. Our mission is not just to help our students learn to excel with their horsemanship, but to experience comprehensive personal development. Located in Sycamore, Illinois
We are looking for a Riding Instructor.
What you'll do
• Teach introductory riding lessons on our well schooled lesson horses
• Teach unmounted group horsemanship classes

Who you are
• A lifelong horse person who is obsessed with horses
• A great conversationalist and an upbeat cheerful person
• Organized, responsible, reliable, and fun loving
• Kind, accountable, and customer experience oriented
• Smart, trainable, open-minded

Open Shifts
• Teaching lessons several afternoons a week (we can be flexible), and Saturdays, with room for growth!

We are home from an unforgettable National Open Horse Show Association Championship Show, thank you to the NOHSA for putting on a GREAT show, and to the Cowpokes Arena at C Bar C for hosting this event!

Three days, numerous classes, early mornings, and late nights. We came away with three reserve world championship, top 5 placings, top ten placings, jackpot class top five, and an all-around! Out of big classes and tough competition!!

HUGE thank you to our instructors for their tirelessly commitment to our riders each and every lesson! Our riders were PREPARED and it showed!

Congratulations to everyone! Looking forward to alittle bit of relaxation, and then making new goals for next year!

We’ve had an amazing start to the National Open Horse Show Association World Championship Show! Two Reserve Championship titles, a Bronze Champion, top 5s and top 10s! Congratulations to our riders!

We had an outstanding horse show at Fox Valley Saddle Association! We love a good two day show so we can order pizza, camp out, and enjoy each others company!

We had riders in almost every class- our horses showed up, and our riders came to play! We’re so proud of everyone, laying down GREAT rides, and we’re excited to see what the rest of the season brings.

A big thank you to our families for helping to make this weekend a success!

Our team started the 2024 Show Season out with a BANG! We were awarded Grand Champion & Reserve Champion Halter horse, THREE High Point Winners, LOTS of first places, and many STELLAR rides. We are SO proud of each Willow Creek Farm rider- you all worked tirelessly to prepare during the off season, and your efforts were rewarded! Congratulations to all our teams, and a BIG thank you to our show parents!

Looking forward to the rest of the season- now heading back to the practice arena to continue to learn and be better!

It's time! Willow Creek Farm is gearing up for our Student Horse Show!

Sunday, June 30th! To help support our show we are looking for horse show sponsors- get in touch with me if you'd like to be a sponsor!

We are also selling Raffle Tickets. Tickets are $25 a piece, or 5 for $100. There will be three winners with a chance to win $1000, $500, or $250! We take Venmo, and check!
