Hello grooming clients! I will be back to grooming soon hopefully! I have an appointment with my surgeon on January 16th, my hope is that he clears me then. A few things... first I will no longer be doing dogs over 25 lbs. I know Ive said this before but slowly I started taking the bigger dogs and as we can all see it landed me with another surgery. I am so sorry to my clients with dogs over 25 lbs! Second, I am going to start out very slowly, probably only doing 3 dogs a day a few days a week, so please be patient. Third, same day cancelation/no show policy. If you cancel the day of your appointment there is a $15 fee I understand things happen but my time is money I cant fill your spot the same day and I lose money. No show will be half of the price of the groom. Again time is money. Ive had several people just forget their appointment. I cant have this anymore. Grooming is my livelihood and how I pay bills. Oh and please don't be late, this happens often and it puts me behind for every appointment after yours. Fourth, and this is the big one. With prices of everything increasing I need to raise my prices. This is something I have not done in the 8 years I've been grooming from home. It's time. I know it's hard on everyone but I've got to be able to pay my bills too. Prices will be as follows, small dogs for full service groom (haircut) this is dogs up to 15 lbs, will be $70 and 15-25 lbs will be $80. Bath and brush for short hair dogs, up to 15 lbs $45 and 15-25 lbs $50. There will be an extra charge for bath dogs with a lot of brush out. Nail trims will be $15 and timming with dremel will be $20. I understand for some this may seem like a lot but I have checked pricing with other local grooming facilities and this is in line with them. And remember with me your dog is not sitting in a shop for hours stuck in a crate. Here your pup is my main focus for the time they are here, they aren't stressed with the noise of 10 other dogs barking and they aren't sitting in a crate waiting their turn. I feel like my services are worthy of the prices you would pay at another facility. To end, thank you all for sticking with me through all I've been through with these dang surgeries! It means the world to me.
