Important Announcement!

Hey Everyone,
It is with great disappointment that I must announce that our business will be on a temporary hiatus beginning on January 18th. As many of you know I took a fall back in July and badly injured my knee. It did not heal as well as hoped and now requires surgical intervention. It was my hope that I would be able to vend some of the spring shows, but my surgery date is much sooner than I originally expected. I am hoping for a quick recovery so that I can get back on my feet and see you all soon. Please be aware my husband will be handling any messages during this time and response times may be slower than usual.

In honor of the 2nd anniversary of our first ever expo I thought I would take a moment to reflect. The first photo is of our tables at our first ever expo. The second photo is of our table this past weekend. So much has changed since our first show, but I can honestly say I'm proud of both set ups. We have learned what works and what doesn't, that sometimes less is more, and that presentation makes a difference.

Our set up at the Finger Lakes Reptile And Exotic's Fall Show yesterday! Congratulations to the young ladies that won the $200 show bucks. I am honored you chose to purchase from us and I am so incredibly happy "Pepper" (her name when she was with us) got a wonderful home. She has a special place in my heart and it brings me joy that she will continue to be loved and appreciated for the sweet girl she is.

Another amazing order from . My little Kenyan roaches came in today. Transaction went beautifully. The packaging while unconventional was done extremely well. I had zero escapees, and they all arrived alive. We are pretty darn close to the end of the shipping season, but please keep them in mind for your feeder needs. I can not recommend them enough.

This is why it is important to check every egg your girls lay. This female hatched here and has never been with a male. Today, I found a fertile egg in her lay box. Parthenogensis for the win! Although partho eggs don't have the best hatch rate, they are still worth incubating.

As always I like to be upfront with our followers. Due to medical issues I have not been doing any business since the end of July. This is going to continue to be the case for the foreseeable future. I hope to be up and at it in time for the fall shows, but I can not guarantee this will be the case. We finally had our first baby of the season hatch on Monday! This baby is from our collab pairing Maarika (our girl) x Chewy (owned by Lovepeacegeckofeet ). I can't wait to see how this baby develops!

Lepidodactylus lugubris aka Mourning geckos are a fun and easy species to keep. A cool fact about this species is that they are parthenogenetic, which means they will lay fertile eggs without mating. If you decide to keep this species, you need to be prepared for babies. Babies, in particular, are expert escape artists and require a well sealed enclosure.
