Yesterday marked the start of all the spring vet appointments for the animals here on our little homestead!

While many of the animals we raise have a sustainable purpose, we take great care and pride in their well-being. Maintaining a clean and healthy herd and farm will always be a top priority. Regular health checks, proper nutrition, and a whole lot of love go into making sure our animals thrive.

Spring is an exciting time, and we’re looking forward to a happy, healthy season ahead!

Let’s talk infused honey!

While our infused honey starts with our delicious raw honey, the infusion process requires gentle heating at a low temperature to blend in flavors, meaning it is no longer considered raw. However, it still maintains all the rich, natural goodness and unique taste combinations you love!

Welcome, February!

With each passing day, we inch closer to spring on the farm, and that means baby animals will soon be arriving! Kidding season is just around the corner, and we’re eagerly counting down the days until we welcome our newest little farm additions. Along with baby goats, we’re also looking forward to baby bunnies making their appearance! There’s nothing quite like the joy and excitement that comes with new life on the farm—playful goat kids, tiny hopping bunnies, buzzing bees getting back to work, and the land slowly waking up from winter.

Kidding season is closing in on us, and today marks the start of the 60-day countdown!

This year, we have only two mamas bred, but we are beyond excited about these pairings. With baby goats on the way, that also means fresh goat milk is just around the corner!

These amazing ladies are absolute rockstars on the milk stand. Last year, they provided enough milk to sustain the supply for three households, as well as making delicious cheeses and all sorts of yummy treats. We can’t wait to see what this year will bring!

Exciting news—beeswax sheets have hit the shelves at Ccrafts Crafty Creations!

We’re currently working on getting signage in place, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, many of you have been asking what beeswax sheets are and how they can be used. Many of you may not know, and some of you may, that we also have a side project working with the incredible Blanc de Hotot rabbit breed.

Did you know that Blanc de Hotots are listed as “threatened” by The Livestock Conservancy? These beautiful rabbits, known for their white fur and striking black eye markings, are critically endangered and need dedicated efforts to preserve them for future generations.

This past weekend, we got to step away from the farm for a bit and spend time with our rabbit friends. Breeding, showing, and working to preserve this incredible breed has truly found a special place in our hearts.

We’re thrilled to share that our Clover Honey from Corrine, UT has been a top seller over the past few years. The overwhelming love and demand for this sweet, golden treat have inspired us to expand our operations in this area to ensure we can keep up with your incredible support.

With that being said, we’re still a small, family-run operation, and growing in one area means we’ll need to scale back in others. We deeply value all parts of our business and your continued support as we make these changes to better serve you.

As a reminder, we will try to offer all of our standard raw honey varieties in glass jars in the following sizes:

As we come into a new honey season, we want to remind everyone that honey changes year to year. You might notice that the honey is a slightly different color than before, and maybe it tastes a little different as well.

Why does honey taste different every year? It’s all thanks to the bees and the flowers they visit! The flavor and color of honey are influenced by the types of flowers that bloom in a particular season, the weather, and even the geography of the area. Every year brings a new combination of nectar, which is what makes each batch of honey unique.

We plan to continue offering all of our main varieties, and we might be bringing a few new ones in and moving some others out. Stay tuned for exciting updates!
