Hello lovelies! I want to inform my clients that as of right now I will not be a le to do big dogs as I am pregnant and at higher risk. I will let you all know when I am taking larger dogs again. If you'd like recommendations for other groomers pm me and I will refer you to them!

I got to groom a St. Bernard for the first time this week! This beautiful girl was so sweet and fell asleep during her groom! 😂💗 it took 4 hours but I got to check that off my bucket list! 💗

First time puppy grooms!

I offer a first time puppy groom for owners and their new fur babies! The first time groom includes: bath, brush, nails and trim. This groom is essential in getting you dog used to the sounds and sensory that they will experience while at the groomer.

Meet rex. As an older dog it takes more time and patience to work with them. It is important when you're grooming an older dog to give them breaks and let them sit or lie down as much as they need. Standing for long periods of time can take a toll on their joints. This sweet handsome boy was very patient with me and didn't complain a bit.

Meet Tig aka Tigger.

Jessica, from Rising Peak Dog Training Training asked me for help in the journey & transformation of this brave little guy!
Tig's owner came to Jessica for training. The owner had acquired him already being matted and then learned how terrified of the world he was and that's not put lightly. Tig was scared of noise, movement, touch, you name it he was scared of it.
His owner had previously taken him to a groomer and they didn't feel comfortable finishing his groom because he was hiding in the back corner of his kennel. Which was only because he was scared. They were afraid he would bite them.
So, they sent him home.

Jessica reached out to me knowing the environment I work in is much calmer & how I take my time with dogs, giving them breaks to ensure they are comfortable in their grooming experience.

Jessica & I ended up working together to get the blanket of matting off of him. He had a matt nearly the size of a tennis ball on his head and matts so close to the skin on his legs we had to shave them with the surgical length late to avoid sores and knicks on his skin.
After his first groom he came out looking almost naked but already we saw a transformation in his personality as he started frolicking through her yard feeling the freedom from his matted hair for the first time in a long time!
She then worked with him on his training and conditioning him to get used to the world around him! His owner being in awe by the leaps and bounds he was making during his Board and Train with Jessica.
Over those weeks I fell in love with this sweet little pup as I often got to be part of his sessions with her.

He got his final groom and went home to his owner yesterday a transformed dog not only physically but mentally!
He may still be scared at times but he has come so far and works through those fears with the help of Jessica and now his owner!
This little guy inspired me and I loved being apart of his journey!

Meet spunky Zoey the pikapoo! She is a sweet little ball of fluff and has the greatest personality! She says brushes aren't her friends though, so it takes a little extra time and patience when working with her so she knows it's not a scary thing to be brushed and to get her in the comfort zone to trust me to brush her.

Meet the fabulous Spoon! This girl is a love bug! She loves her brushing and scratches!

You know, often I hear people say they'd prefer a short hair cat/dog over a long haired one. But honestly I think these pictures speak for themselves! Even short hair fur babies need grooming too! Thats why I offer my bath and deshed option to get rid of that pesky fur that likes to decorate your house in all its hairy glory Ness! As we near the fall season they will start to shed that summer coat!
