Like why sir. I'd like to mention I don't think in his entire 2 and half years of life he's ever naturally fertilized eggs. Never mind his crest. He also thought he was Mike Tyson and well he got de crested by another boy.🙄

I'd seriously be lost without Laurie Wilson and also shout out to Rose Blossom Silkies.

We have a very guarded outlook but she's lively and now just to try to keep any infection far away!
If we can beat infection I think she's has a good chance at making it!

So MooMoo is no longer going to be able to show. She's currently going to be fighting to stay alive.

A dog got her through a kennel. I know it could be worse she could be not alive. But man why ...why would she for 1 Jump that high out of her pen with friends and go to the polar opposite side of the garage and go in a 6" gap between a wall and a dog kennel. 😭😭😭😭😭

Like yes I know I'm blaming myself but man I just didn't think this would be a issue.

It just seems to be fatty tissue on her chest pulled back and her wing is broke in half but still attached by the main joint.

I had planned on moving everyone back out to the coops today 😞

So here I am bringing everyone into the garage for a few days. -30 just doesn't seem like a fun time to be outside.

MooMoo has been yelling at me daily she wants outside and has even jumped out of her pen twice. So finally let her her outside to enjoy the 🌞.

She ate some snow and chatted the entire time.

I think she'll start laying soon. Every time I go to pick her up she takes the rooster ready position 🙄

Laikyn got to be a Rockstar over the weekend as she'll tell ya 😉 I love how she wants to live every moment to the fullest and beats to her own drum! 🤘

🎶Yeah, I'm pretty but I'm loco..

Maybe a crash course of a million hours of watching, listening and really strong determination to succeed is all you need 💪 I picked my 1st paint (hen by that time) as my Ohio Nationals hopeful. This young girl I feel like has alot of what I want or least step one of this crazy creation of paints I want mine to look like. Is she perfect heck no. Do I think she's worthy of making a appearance at the biggest poultry show YES! Do I fully know what I'm doing uh.....no. But I think I have a good idea of where I wanna go. See ya there 😉

We are adding a silkie barn/shed spring of 2025!! Im looking at some that are 12 X 20 I don't think I could go smaller. What are your suggestions. I want room for minimum 4 ground pens that I'll have attached outdoor runs to. Ideally I'd like 6 ground pens with attached outdoor runs. Then I need to have a feed and groom table. On top of conditioning pens and wall cages as well. I want to hear all about things we should or shouldn't do. What would you love to have ?
