The mercury is dropping! Thanks to the Syracuse Police Deoartment for this important reminder:
If you are cold, they are cold! With freezing cold temperatures rapidly approaching, PLEASE be mindful of how long pets are being left outside. Like humans, cats and dogs are susceptible to frostbite and hypothermia.
A reminder to Syracuse residents:
Adrian's law punishes pet owners if they leave an animal tethered outside in extreme temperatures (above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit) for a period greater than 2 continuous hours.
