Saying goodbye to our best friends can be one of the most difficult decisions we are faced with. Knowing when the time is right to say goodbye is one of the hardest factors when caring for a sick or elderly pet.

A Quality of Life Questionnaire can be a helpful tool in this devastating decision making process. It can be helpful to print it out and fill it out daily and have each family member fill out their perspective as well. This can help guide you into seeing a diminishing quality of life in your sweet pets. Please visit the link below to access this resource.

Stillwaters Veterinary Care

For 12 years, Dr. Annette Otis was a dedicated emergency veterinarian and, unfortunately, had to perform numerous euthanasias as part of her job. Losing a beloved pet is always heartbreaking, but Dr. Otis saw the need for a kinder, less stressful environment to say goodbye in. That’s why she founded Stillwaters Veterinary Care -- to provide families with an easier farewell in the comfort of their own homes. As a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian, Dr. Otis has the expertise and compassion necessary to provide your pet with a peaceful passing.
