There's nothing quite like the feeling of fresh air, the sound of rustling leaves, and the joy of exploring new trails with your best friend by your side. Hiking with your dog is a wonderful way to bond, get some exercise, and enjoy nature together. 🌲🌄

Here are some tips to make sure your hiking adventure is paw-sitive:

*Leash and Collar: Always keep your dog on a leash to ensure their safety and the safety of wildlife. A sturdy collar and ID tags are a must!
*Water and Treats: Hydration is key! Bring enough water for both you and your pup, along with some tasty treats for breaks along the way.
*First Aid Kit: You never know when you'll need a bandage or antiseptic wipes, so it's always good to have a basic first aid kit on hand.
*Trail Etiquette: Respect other hikers and clean up after your dog. Pack in, pack out!
*Choose the Right Trail: Not all trails are dog-friendly. Check ahead to make sure your chosen path welcomes four-legged friends and is suitable for their fitness level.

1 large egg
1/4 cup of peanut butter
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1/3 cup of honey
1 cup of flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
optional: 1 cup of a vegetable such as carrots

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Line a muffin tin with six muffin cups (I ended up making four and used the leftover to frost).
Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Blend together ingredients with a mixer on low until everything is combined.
Spoon two heaping tablespoons of mix into each lined cup.
Bake for 15 minutes or so.
Cool before frosting with peanut butter.
Garnish each with a dog cookie
