Children under 10 or so is a deal breaker, as he gets a bit riled up if he's handled in a manner that doesn't suit him. It always fascinated me how dogs of the same and similar breeds always seem to buddy up and form their own cliques. It's totally understandable with people, as different nationalities share language and customs, but how do dogs pick up on their shared similarities? They're just dogs, aren't they? Elvis and Bruin, having a blast!

This is one of around 10 dogs stuck living at the vet clinic. Yes he is safe and cared for, but he, like all the others really wants a home, to be loved, and someone to love. If you're not ready to commit to adopting I urge you to consider fostering. I think you'll be surprised how warm and fuzzy you'll feel when you realize what a great thing you're doing.

Toby. This dude needs his own home! He's a bit quirky, so somebody with experience with weird little dogs would be best....

Toby. This dude needs his own home! He's a bit quirky, so somebody with experience with weird little dogs would be best. He's crate trained and quiet in there, great on a leash, loves to play with other dogs, mostly house trained (does best with scheduled walks), loves to be loved but ask him first if it's ok to pick him up, super fast when it comes to grabbing dropped food. Is not into being groomed. Toby is super likable and his good traits far outweigh the weird ones, which can all be worked on with time. I'm his best friend for now, but if you adopted him that honor would go straight to you. www.allcreaturesbigandsmall.org to apply to adopt. Once approved come and take him away. You'll make room here for another!

Check it out! We've got a billboard ad on James St., right by Mother's Cupboard. There's a damn pole in the way from where I took the picture. Toby and I stopped to look at it on our way in this morning. It's up for about 5 seconds. The McDonalds ad must be up for 10, as if people have never heard of the place. Anyhow, ya better get your dogs enrolled because we're expecting a full house with this ad. They tell me it will get 7 million views a week. We're gonna need a bigger boat!
