Check out Rockyās transformation from when he started to where he is now. Initially Rocky was insecure, nervous, stressed, and had absolutely zero leash skills to the point he was never able to be walked. He also had to learn how to socialize with both people and other dogs. Today heās a happy, confident guy who handles new situations with ease and has on point obedience.
We are incredibly proud of his hard work and accomplishments and cannot wait to see what the future holds for him!
Remember that Rocky is up for adoption through Seventh Heaven Rescue!
Rocky is approximately 1.5 years, neutered, up to date on vaccines and flea/tick prevention. He is a predominantly german shepherd x husky mix. He is crate trained and house trained, with the exception of some submissive urination at times. Rocky would make a great running or hiking partner! He knows heel, sit, down, come (on leash), off, and leave it. Heās social with other dogs and would enjoy another dog in the home, just keep in mind he is a rough and tumble kind of player. Heās just a sweet, fun loving big goober!

Snapshot of our engagement and obedience foundation work with Dracos, 6 months. We were at a completely new field and off to the right were a ton of super interesting distractions. The goal of this session was merely to capture his attention and achieve little bits of obedience. Itās important to mark the behavior we do want to build a solid foundation. Weāre moving a little slower with him as compared to other dogs simply because heās a different dog. We canāt wait to see all of this hard work pay off down the road!
A little snippet of Jasper working in a totally new environment last week! Working on staying in a sit and down, as well as his leave it command with toys. Heās wrapping up his two week program today heading back to his foster and weāre so proud of all of the progress heās made!
This sweet boy is still available for adoption through Seventh Heaven Rescue! Reach out directly to them if youāre interested. Heās a lot of fun and loves people and other dogs!
Reese is graduating from Training Academy tomorrow! Heās worked hard and done amazing! We conditioned him to a muzzle as a safety net for him. Heās come so far in his socialization skills and made so many new friends! We canāt wait for his parents to see his progress.
Reese has been working hard and crushing his training program!

Reese Leash Walking
Check out Reese making progress on his leash skills! This beefcake was used to pulling wherever he wanted to go. Within a few short sessions of teaching him to give to leash pressure, we have the beginning foundations for a nice loose leash walk.
Some focused heeling and obedience foundation work with Draco today at Club. Super happy with this little guyās progress for his age!
Mini trainer helping with Ruby in the pet store today. Sheās done great with her program and will be going home soon. Weāre so proud of her!
Riot practicing his position changes. We train everywhere!!
Kiyoko took a field trip two weeks ago. At the time of these videos he had been here less than 2 weeks. The progress this dog, this puppy, has made in such a short time is amazing. From fearful, shaking in any new environment, lashing out in aggression due to said fear, to now loving on new people and kids, and having the confidence to handle new environments.
This is why we do what we do. This is not an easy job. Itās a passion. But it can still be exhausting. We get these dogs in their worst shape. Fearful, insecure, lacking confidence, not knowing how to interact with the world let alone people, not knowing how to simply be a dog. It takes a lot of time, effort, patience, intuition, and more to build these dogs back up.
This is so much more than teaching a dog to sit, lay down, or walk nicely on a leash. While those things are components of our overall training, they wonāt fix behavior issues.
I am looking forward to Kiyoko finishing up his training program and being able to move on to the next stage in his life. Without the right help at the right time, his future would have turned out vastly differently. I am loving seeing him grow into the dog we knew he could be! ā¤ļøš

Zoomies!! George, Tillie, and Sparkle Pop.
Benicio is working on his leash walking skills! Not just staying close with a loose leash but also not reacting to all the stimulus around him, particularly other dogs. Good job Beni!
Our boy Riot was back at the dock this weekend for the season opener. Once he got back in the groove of things, he blasted out this 30ā jump!
George working on some overall confidence building! It may not seem like much but for an insecure dog, walking next to a scooter like this is actually a lot of work mentally. George is showing a few small stress signals, but some stress is necessary for growth. We push comfort zones in order for dogs like George to be able to move past their insecurities and comfortably exist in the world. This little guy has been doing super lately!
