Hi there! Foxy and Tango here! I’m the beauty (Tango) but Foxy is the brains, so I’ll let her tell you about us but I may “butt in” sometimes and make sure she gets things right!
“We” are a dynamic duo! Where one goes the other goes! What a great twofer for you!!!
Cuddles? Oh yeah, world class cuddlers! Wanna talk? Yup, we’re great talkers too (just try to get a word in, LOL). (Tango – and we like to listen too, after we’re done talking).
Wanna know something else? We are NOT escape artists like most Husky Mixes but, we still love having a good time like a short WALK! OMG! A WALK!!! So, save your legs with us and skip the five mile hike or run. Those Huskies, boy do they love to run, but not us. Oh and then there are truck rides. Howlyyyy YES! The TRUCK!!!
Ok, so what else? Hmmm, snacks! Oh yeah they are so GOOD! And the couch, the best place in the whole world where we will curl up next to you or on you. Keep petting us once we’re there, you know you want to! We are ready to make your couch our best cuddle place with you! Can you tell we are couch potatoes? We snuggle and cuddle the best since our hips prefer we only do 20 minute walks. What can we say? Who’d take a super long walk when we can all “dog pile” on the couch for cuddles and snuggles.
So, what else are we interested in? We like small animals but we overwhelm them with our prey drive so foster Mom and Dad said no kitties even though they are so cute, no bunnies either even though they have the longest ears, no ducks even though they run funny and make weird quacking noises instead of barking, in general no small animals.
We really like big kids and grownups, but little children make us a bit anxious cuz they move around different and sometimes want to put their fingers in our eyes or our ears or our noses and that feels strange and maybe painful.
Now, you might think Huskies, how could we not be escape artists? Well…we have some hip issues. That darned Tango just had to go ahead and get his hip replaced. And even though our pet insurance probably won’t cover his other hip being replaced, our foster Mom’s pet insurance covers most everything else. And since I, Foxy, have not seen the vet about my hips they may be covered. Oh Oh Oh! And my foster Mom and Dad will pay for the costs for YOU to foster US! (Unless you plan to make this a permanent relationship then our pet insurance will come with us!). Either way is a WIN WIN! Bonus: No six foot fence needed to keep us in the yard!
You can call our foster Mom and Dad and they will be happy to tell you all about us. Mom is Rachel and Dad is Eli. Rachel 253-355-1088 and Eli 253-260-5264. We are in the great state of Washington. We live in the country near Tacoma. Foster Mom and Dad are happy to transport us to our new home in Washington and Oregon and Idaho, and?
Mom and Dad said I should put the link here so you can apply for us. We can’t wait to meet you and start our cuddles!

Bonded pair of cuddly huskies looking for forever home. Foxy and Tango are 4 years old, 60 #, fixed, vaccinated, insured, and full of love.

Tango slightly prefers women and children and is an unintentionally selfish diva, but incredibly affectionate and sensitive at the same time. He's the more silly one, and the slightly more cuddly one. Sassy, will howl at you for love. He spends most nights on my lap. He never met anyone who wasn't his best friend.

Foxy is smart as a whip, anxious, and motherly. She takes a little longer to decide a new situation isn't going to be the end of her, but in general is still pliable with some kind words and a tasty treat. Usually the things she decides are scary are inoculous like a new hard floor she's not walked on 😂 She loves to give kisses and they're some of cleanest, slobber free kisses ever. She slightly prefers men and adults. Sassy, will howl at you for her breakfast. She is the one who would need a little time to trust that new people/children won't violate her boundaries and become comfortable.

They're both husky mixes. Vocal like huskies but not the type to stand outside and be loud either (unless the neighborhood cat is teasing them from outside the fence). They have low exercise needs, we walk them maybe 5 days a week for 15-20min. They're both far more affectionate than most husky types but are still the independent and unlikely to be considered obedient by most standards. They follow our daily routine without issues at all, and are very good at going where we want them to. They currently don't have problems with separation anxiety but I do believe they would struggle with it for a period of time settling in to a new place- this includes noise making and if left in a crate- the death of the bed in that crate. They do well in crates at night. They prefer a yard to lounge in, and will spend a good part of the day outside. I recommend a secure yard or kennel for daytime keeping them. They were STARTING to trial free house time during the day and night with their original owners when they had to give them up, it was going well, so in their permanent house I could see that being an eventuality. They don't need a high fence. I leave them in my fenced yard, instead of the outdoor kennel when I'm gone without issues. They LOVE car rides, a ride in the back seat of my truck is beloved more than a walk. They were raised with kids from baby to toddler to teen. Generally dog friendly, but can be overwhelming to the other dog in their exuberance.

The bad-
Bad prey drive- towards cats, opossum, racoons, rabbits, etc.
Excitement- Tango will "punch" when he's excited or wants something. It's adorable but can hurt when he gets you in the knee.
Walks - they're pullers. Not out of control but not great either.
Health- Tango has had one hip surgery and there's no guarantee that he won't need the other. They both have health insurance that I can transfer to a new parent, but for Tango at least, it's likely his hips will not be covered as a pre existing condition. The surgery was done before they were given up.
Food- Foxy is a counter surfer when not kept track of. They both have less than stellar food manners, from their previous human siblings giving them a lot of snacks, that we've been working on.

Searching for the perfect loving home for two bonded littermate husky mixes. 3 years old. Male Tango, Female "Foxy" Foxtrot.
Tango (light grey) has a more typical husky personality and Foxy(Black & White) has a more mildly nervous herding breed type personality.
They do all the typical things huskies do, but at much less the intensity most huskies do. Breed familiar adopters are preferred, huskies are not for beginners but I have extensive Northern Breed experience and would consider these dogs oddly well behaved for huskies. Only hard no is that they have instinctual prey drive- NO CATS, most likely no small dogs. They lived with children their entire lives and do quite wonderfully with them. Above toddler age children would be best just due to their size.
Exercise needs are relatively low, but they do prefer at least a small yard to lounge outside in.
Crate trained and about 55-60 # each.
They are incredibly affectionate. None of that husky aloof behavior. If you want a cuddly duo, they are the ones for you.
They are insured through Embrace Pet insurance, and the policy can be transferred to new owners. Tango has congenital hip dysplasia and has had one hip surgery. He doesn't need any day to day treatment at this point. Due to this, extensive exercise isn't necessary or suggested. Both dogs have been fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.
Home check and application required. Rehoming fee $50 necessary but can consider waiving.
Please feel free to share we're preferably adopting them out local-ish to Puget Sound area to make home visit and transferring them a little simpler.
Please visit this website to apply for adoption or reach out to me directly with questions.
