The puppy or dog group classes are a great way to put your training to the test under a distracting and social environment. These classes are better than your run-of-the-mill group classes and we do a lot of leash and heel work. Good for dogs and pups of all levels. The seminars are a wonderful option for those that are very busy but still need the information and demonstration on how to dog whisper or use dog training on a certain dog behavioral aspect. They are always a popular option and Garrett is a gifted public speaker with many years experience. Calmness…the natural results of our custom training!! Hyper obedience (which is what most trainers work on) is often unnecessary in today’s world. Also, a calm dog is 100% more likely to obey than a hyped up one “motivated” by fleeting external motivation (positive or punitive reinforcement) 😮 Yes, it’s true - if you are clinging to motivation methods like positive reinforcement or punitive reinforce you are ages behind where you could be with your dog’s behavior!

Ignoring, or disagreeing with higher energy, is something all socially-skilled dogs do to maintain a calm, peaceful environment around them! Here the puppy wasn’t doing anything wrong but was still presenting higher energy than the older dog so, the dog expressed how he wasn’t interested in raising energy to start play at that initial greeting. By keeping his muzzle higher our older dog displayed his rank over the pup which is beneficial since the pup is the one that has to learn everything.
