After receiving the information about how my van was found this morning, I was able to make it to the impound and get to work on time to groom these 8 marvelous dogs.

Marge the lab mix, Amelia the German Shepherd, Peter the greyhound, Koda the pomeranian, kenai and Bella the Bostons, Chiyo the pitbull and Birkin the Boston terrier.

It has been a busy day today. 😅

RECOVERED!

Early AM there was a report of the police findings my van, the guy tried to leave and ended up ramming police officer vehicles.

The guy ran so officers brought in dogs and the guy is still on the run.

Mark and I went to pick it up from impound and were pleasantly surprised that there was only slight damage to the passanger side bumper, but it drives great with still a 1/2 tank of gas.

The guy started putting my stuff in garbage bags, the first thing I saw was one of my favorite pictures of me and my deceased father. I instantly felt a heavy presences and tears came to my eyes. Thanks to my guardian spirits.

I found needles, his backpack and his wallet inside which the police came out to gather the evidence.

Last night I did a full on manifestation candle ritual asking to be reunited with my van, and this morning I got my Ox back. 🥰

I am so very thankful and glad no one got hurt. Thank you all for your concern and looking out for me. 😘

My van was stolen between 4:00-8:00pm tonight, Saturday January 11th, out front of my grooming shop.

Police report was made and posted in several stolen car groups.

This was my lineup of dogs yesterday.

I had some severely matted dogs and a glorious deshed. All of the dogs were well behaved and the owners appreciated the last minute groom before Christmas.

Hello! This post is talking a little more about hard to handle and aggressive dogs, which I specialize in grooming. This is Coco, the dog I posted yesterday explaining about dogs labled as, "hard to handle dog". The first time Coco came in for grooming he was pelted solid and had to be shaved with a 1/16th of an inch. Luckily, the owner brought him back in for a grooming at 6-8 weeks, which is the appropriate grooming time recommended, *for a reason* especially for curly coated breeds, and any breed that grows long hair. Some people may see this as a "scared dog" or give it the soft energy of, "Awww, poor baby doesn't like it" This is actually a very dominant dog who is intacted which adds frusterated energy to his already dominant behavior. Another indication that this dog is not scared, when he's put down on the ground he isn't shaking while walking around looking anxious and lost. He also isn't finding a corner to hide. This dog marches around lifting his leg on as many objects as he can to claim territory that isn't his own. There's no question that dogs with this temperament will cause serious damage if they were to make contact with a groomers hand. Cute? Yes. Dangerous? Also, yes. Dogs like this are impossible to get out of a crate without the right experience. I can't even pick this dog up without using the lead to guide his teeth away from my body while he protests and thrashes around uncontrollablely while viciously trying to attack me. I refer to this behavior as grooming a wild coyote. They are not trained or tamed, and will cause serious damage if he made contact with skin. They are fast when they decide to bite, I literally have 1-2 seconds to react and get my hand out of the way, otherwise I'll have some pretty bad puncture wounds. If a dog happens to bite a groomer, we'll live in pain for a good 1-2 weeks, longer for some. For me, my energy level will be low for days due to my body focusing on mending the problem while I tend to

This is a video of a very unpredictable grooming dog who usually lashes out at me at any give time. Most grooming shops turn these types of dogs away. I know of groomers who had to retire due to a single bite to the hand or wrist. Some groomers may think the right way to deal with this type of behavior would be to yell at the dog. That will only amplifying the aggressive behavior. The best thing to do is calmly groom the dog along with my 20+ years of animal handling experience I can get most every dog that comes my way groomed. This dog would be considered a hard to handle, unpredictable, dangerous dog. If a small dog were to be fully sedated and groomed by a groomer working at a vet clinic, a owner would be expected to pay $450.00-$750.00. My Story

Hello to you all!

My name is Lesha and I own a grooming facility at 4602 Pacific Avenue Tacoma Washington. Here's a little on how I got started...

When I was in high school I got my first job as a bather at PetSmart. Straight out of high school I got an apprentice position at a dog training facility, The Washington K-9 Center. There I learned how to handle hard to handle dogs, protection dogs, I taught obedience classes and of course cared for the many Malinoises, Rottweilers, Pitbulls etc that stayed at the facility.

When I was working and learning at the training facility I enrolled in a dog grooming school and there I learned how to properly bathe and groom all breeds of dogs.

Throughout the years I have worked as a groomer at a veterinarian clinic, a boarding facility, a pet store and a grooming facility.

In May 2006 when I turned 25 years old I decided to open a grooming facility and ever since I have been in business.

After getting my certificate of completion from dog training and grooming school, I have gained hands-on experience with thousands of dogs due to the places I have worked while grooming, training obedience, protection dogs and board and train clients.

I have helped run my employers businesses, I have fostered and placed many dogs, I have boarded my clients dogs while they were out of town and at one point I even lived with a pack of my own dogs.

In the past I have also bred dogs having the experience of rearing and being able to study dog and puppy pack behavior including Belgian Malinoises, Maltese, Pomeranian, Jack Russell's and a Golden Retriever litter.

I have learned so much along the way, not only as a business woman but also as a human being learning the ways of communication and customer service, with dogs always and forever by my side.
