We are not just a dog and cat clinic, we also see pocket pets (guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, etc.), birds, and reptiles! We offer services such as spay/neuter, acupuncture, laser treatment, problem appointments (illnesses, lameness, etc.), vaccines, and euthanasia. Our Doctors are:

National Veterinary Technician Week happens each October and this week is the week for 2024!

This week, we celebrate the dedicated and compassionate veterinary technicians who play a vital role in the health and well-being of our beloved pets. Our practice has 4 full-time licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs) on staff, Sarah M., Kellie, Sarah H. and Brittany, who you have probably met on one or more occasions during your pet’s visits.

In Washington State, licensed veterinary technicians have had education from an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited school in veterinary technology, they have passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) which only 64% of first-time test takers pass! In order to maintain their license, they also must complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education every 2 years.

Our LVTs are trained to perform an amazing variety of tasks, some of which may only be performed by a LVT including: anesthesiology, anesthetic monitoring, obtaining urine samples via centesis (syringe/needle used to extract sample from the bladder) or catheterization, performing blood pressure checks and electrocardiograms, analyzing cytology, f***l, hematology and urine samples, ophthalmological procedures (tear production tests, topical anesthetics, fluorescein stains, tonometry), cast and splint application as well as filling your pet’s prescriptions.
