🐾💚Saturday Happy Tails from Moose!💚🐾

Since joining his new family in August, Moose has blossomed into the biggest goofball and cuddle bug. 💕 There's really nothing better than seeing our pets happy and comfortable in their new homes

His new family says, “Our house truly wouldn’t be the same without our big buddy!” 🐶

This is a massive number of pets in our care, but it’s only possible because of our amazing fosters. 💚

Opening their home to pets in need helps ensure the shelter has space for the new pets arriving every day in need of care.

Our fosters are often caring for some of our most fragile populations, which need a lot of medical support from our Veterinary team. Their best chances are in a foster home where they can get more one-on-one care and experience less stress than in the shelter environment.

Fostering more than doubles our shelter capacity and makes a huge difference for the pets in our care. 🐾

🏠💚🐾 Elliott's Foster Update 🐾💚🏠

Recently, Elliott has been enjoying a shelter break out in a foster home! He's had an absolute blast having some dog besties to play with and snuggle with. Elliott also enjoys couch cuddles in the evenings and napping in the sun during the day.

He has been working on getting settled since new places and things can be a bit scary, but dog pals really help him feel safe! Elliott also made huge strides (literally!) during a walk to the park - he loved being able to sniff and his foster paw-rent saw him visually relax and even break out in a huge grin 😁

Last month we sent our mobile vet unit and some of our team to a large and rapidly growing cat colony in Lakewood, WA.

Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) is proven to be the most effective, humane method of reducing community cat populations.

We want to extend a deep thanks to the community members who are working alongside us. We couldn’t do it without you!

Karma gets pretty bashful when you tell him he's good boy 🤭

Meet Karma! If you're looking for a dog that just exudes chill vibes, he's your guy. Karma gives off the energy of someone during early COVID lockdown: he likes going for neighborhood walks, puttering about the house, and curling up for an afternoon nap in a cozy spot.

In his foster home, he settled in and made himself comfortable right away. Karma is just a laid-back guy who is ready to be someone's new pal! 💚

🐾💚Saturday Happy Tails from Liam and Lilah!💚🐾

Two years ago, Liam's family set their eyes on his handsome face and knew he was the one for them. After everything was official, he was brought out to his waiting family and they started their new adventure together!

"Liam and I have bonded so completely it seems like we've been together for so much longer than just two years. He is really part of me now."

Not only did Liam gain a new human family, he also gained a new fur sister one year later! Now Liam and Lilah are living their best lives in their amazing home 🥰
