I just had to rescue this sweet girl. She is paralyzed in her back end and was having trouble getting around. Her tail was starting to rot off and she is blind. She lived in a tree stump by my place. I couldn’t keep watching her suffer so I drove her to someone who specializes in opossums! I’m so grateful she is being taken care of and loved. ♥️I love all animals! We thought it was a boy but it’s a girl!!!!
Dogs and Kats teamed up with Shannon Miranda of Miranda’s Rescue to save Bullwinkle. Shannon has done an amazing job working with Bullwinkle and finding him the perfect home. Bullwinkle goes to his new forever home tomorrow, and we couldn’t be happier!!!

Sanford came back for a visit to see Shannon Miranda at Miranda’s Rescue. Look how much fun he and Lazer are having playing!
Here’s a great update video of Frankie. We didn’t know it when we saved him, but he is deaf. That is probably why he was so terrified in the shelter. He has slowly been learning to trust at Miranda’s Rescue and learn that life is better and will be okay.

Ginger has made quite a bit of progress from the terrified girl she was when she first came in to the Martinez shelter. Thanks to all of you who have contributed so far, we were able to raise the total amount needed to send Frankie up to Miranda’s Rescue in Fortuna, CA! We would like to be able to send Lola as well, who was at risk for meeting the criteria PDA due to a minor bite to a stranger who approached her with her homeless owner.
