This horse is NOT yet titled nor gentled!!!

Step 1...contact Amanda (number above) check if Lainey is the right fit for you.
Step 2. Do paperwork with BLM ensure you have approved facilities ([email protected])
Step 3. Once approved make arrangements with Amanda and go pick up.

Lainey 4 year old Fox Hog Buckskin. Not gentled, but not crazy. Should be an easy girl to train. I haven’t measured her but attached a picture of her standing next to my other buckskin mare who is 15.1 for reference.

DG ‘Ebe’ is a coming 4 year old Mustang mare, adopted through the USFS, looking for her new forever home. She is out of the Devils Garden HMA.
She is currently in with me getting a refresher on her basics while we hunt for her perfect match. She competed in the 2023 Four Corners Mustang Challenge in New Mexico, where she was adopted by her current owner. Unfortunately, they are just not a good match.

Ebe is sweet and friendly, she loves attention and treats. However she is still a bit guarded. She has some anxiety about being caught, which we are working hard to resolve. She is a very sensitive young mare and would do best with an experienced handler or somebody willing to put a LOT of time into building a relationship and helping her work through things.
Ebe can be touched all over, has gone through and over obstacles with her original trainer, she stands tied and gives all four feet without a fuss. She needs consistency and patience when catching her, but once caught she is a doll. She’s a little ‘sticky’ with leading, and tends to want to drag behind a bit, but we are working through these issues. Her left side is definitely her ‘strong’ side, and she requires patience with handling on her right side. She has worn a ba****ck pad and we are working toward her first saddling. She has not been lunged on a line in the last year, as her owner had a back injury and did not want to risk any sharp pulls. I will be refreshing that as well. She does round pen beautifully, and has very nice, consistent gaits.
I have not measured her, but I estimate she’s about 14.2hh. I am willing to measure her by request for an exact height.

2 🥕🥕🥕 takes her. Carrots are somewhat flexible but will increase with time and training put into her.
She is located in Carrizozo, NM.

Freckles is a " half draft" Percheron cross . She is a flea bit gray, she is 16 hands and super gentle. She rides great on trails..moves off nicely. She was used as a pack horse in Colorado as well as experienced in pulling logs. She loads easily, has manners and needs someone to give her a forever family. She is 10 or 11 years old and will make anyone a super nice forever horse. $2500

Jasper is a paint gelding 13 hands and safe as they come. He has been riden all over even hunting. He has been shot off and is been in parades..he's got a great mind. He loves attention and comes running when he sees you coming. Your kids need this guy!! Or anyone who's confidence has been shaken by a horse..he will help you gain it back. $4000

Black and white paint mare 4 years old. This girl Is broke to ride and knows how to lay down for you. She can be tricky to catch sometimes but is easy with a bucket of food to catch. Sje is about 3 months Bred to a mammoth jack currently and throws beautiful color in her foals. $2000

Black and white paint filly 6 months old. Weened 2 weeks ago. Leads and loads in a trailer. Picks up front feet and is still learning the ropes on being handled. She's a very fast learner and is built nice and already 13 hands tall. $500

I have trained about 300 wild mustangs over the past 7 years. And without contest mares are where it's at..this person very accurately describes mares. As for me and my kids..we will ride mustang mares. Picture below are my mustang mares

Although this is true for good horses in general, if you’ve ever watched natural wild horses, you understand why mares are the way they are. Give birth to a foal and immediately have to defend it from prey, mares usually have big ears which allows them to hear prey coming, raised senses in general because not only do they have to fend for themselves but also a foal who is not capable of just running away. Mares are often ready to stay to fight if needed, stand their ground.
“There’s something different about the way a good mare connects with her rider. It’s special. Like an unspoken agreement. Once a mare chooses you as her person, it’s like she has an instinct to protect you, to fight for you. It’s almost as if she takes ownership of you.
I believe the good mares have a deep sense of intuition. They can read your mind. They know what you’re thinking even before you do. The good mares I know breathe fire in the face of challenge and then somehow, miraculously, know to quiet themselves when a timid child is plopped on their back for a pony ride.
They are clever, cunning and calculated, which can be your greatest enemy or your saving grace. The good mares I know do not tolerate egotistical riding. They do not tolerate force. They demand tact, finesse and emotional control. But once you have won a mare’s heart, you have won all of her. In exchange for your best—and nothing less—she will give you everything.”

Octavia is a 3yo filly from Goshute, Nevada. She stands around 13.3h She is an easy keeper and does fine in a mixed herd (mares/geldings). She’s very sweet/easy to get along with and will come up to you in the pasture. She knows all of her basic groundwork and has a good start on her, she will W/T/C, go through creeks, over logs and down the road. She rides with a group or on her own just fine. She’s still green but is coming along nicely! Videos in comments

It's so humbling watch young girls do such incredible work and excell so fast and far with wild horses..here is another filly available in Stigler. I personally know and have witnessed this young trainer work and train mustangs..and she's captivating. I could watch her and her sister allday.

Journie is a STUNNING 3yr old titled mustang mare from Fish Creek Nevada HMA.

Journie is a very sweet mustang and is much more of a one person horse. She tends to love women and has to warm up to men.

This gorgeous mare stands a solid 13.1 with all the dun factor one could ask for. Swasey is from Swasey, UT. (Yes I know her name is very creative lol) and she is 5 years old. She knows all the basic groundwork and has a very quiet, levelheaded personality. She stands to be saddled and will ride alone, or with a group. She will W/T/C and has even been on a night ride in the mountains (roughly 13 miles) she loves water and likes to chase a cow. She’s sweet and easy to get along with, that with her naturally quiet personality makes her one special a little Mustang! I have 32 horse hay round bales.Its 80% Bahaia and 20% Lespedeza. 1000 lbs bales net wrapped.. just baled. It's all the higher quality horse hay available at this time. I do still have clean Prairie hay round bales available. I plan to have horse hay square bales at some point when we get to those specific fields. First come first serve

Update. Sold!!!

If you're looking for a couple easy projects or your forever Mustang mount, look no farther!

Kristoff (Brown) is a titled 2019 gelding from maverick-medicine NV. He stands 13.3, is an easy keeper and gets along with just about everything. He has been stared and has decent handle on him. He rides with a group or on his own just fine. He will W/T/C go through creeks, over logs and loves to track a cow. would make someone a grate little cow/trail horse. That being said he is still green and needs more miles before I would recommend for a beginner. He's not a big handful or anything just needs more exposure and wet saddle pads. He's got mane and tale for days, easy to catch and loves attention. His cons are, he is stand-off ish and nervous around new people so who ever gets him next will have to take the time to win his trust. He is a little spooky in new places and doesn’t like vehicles. All of which will get better with time. Title in hand and ready to go.

Rango (sorrel) is a 2017 model, mustang gelding. He is 13.3-14h. He is green broke and a gorgeous mover. He rides okay just don’t know much yet. he’s easy to handle, but if he thinks he can get away with some thing he will take advantage. He rides with a group or on his own just fine. He will W/T/C go through creeks, over logs and likes cows. would make someone a grate cow/trail horse or even a dressage/English prospect. I have a picture of his title, but it has been lost.

Update: the little boy who she was actually adopted for has spoken..her name is Ferrari ..so hence forth..shes will be "FERRARI"

Who has a great name for a big black mustang mare that can fly..like jump type fly?? I have been trying names on her but nothing fits her She is calm, sweet, curious, gigantic and needs a terrific name that is as remarkable as she is...SHE HAS A FOREVER HOME ALREADY...just looking for a cool name..thanks friends!

JUDY came infor gentling Nov 30. She's been with her owner 17 days..and this was her first day at work yesterday...she is turning out real nice..looks like she's gonna out work all the other horses at the sale barn. How about you give a mustang a chance? They are amazing!

Here's another update: this mustang filly came in for tip training gentling Nov 30 and has been in her new home for about 10 days...and look at her progress...just amazing how trainable and willing these mustangs are...give one a chance...might change your life...it will for sure change their life.

Update:
Here is a little update on some mustangs that we got in for tip training Nov 30 and got gentled and in a home last week...they are moving along so fast...give a mustang a chance...they are incredibly intelligent and more than willing and trainable. Thank you so much Kayla and Rusty and girls for your updates.
We are so impressed and appreciative of your efforts to build a solid foundation for these mustangs. Tell your friends..mustangs are amazing.

Mustang friends...spread the word far and wide...I have some talented girls training Mustangs here in my area with so much heart...they have one who's ready to find a family...I'm posting for the girls..not my horse but he is here in Talihina and can be seen by appointment !!!

He rides with a group or on his own just fine. He will W/T/C go through creeks, over logs and loves to track a cow. He would make someone and a great little cow/trail horse. That being said he is still green and needs more miles before I would recommend for a new rider. His only cons are he is scared of vehicles, can be stand-off ish around new people (comes around pretty quick with treats) and is a little spooky at times. All of which will get better with time. He’s got mane and tale for days, easy to catch and loves attention.

UPDATE: These boys have pending homes thank you to everyone who shared the post and inquired about giving these lovely mustangs a home...I will post more horses as they become available.

Finally...at long last..we have 3 mustangs available!
These geldings are all sale authority which means you get title right away..no waiting!
This HUGE bay gelding is 15 hands and is 5 years old. He is from Sheepshead Creek Oregon. So far seems to have a docile temperament.
Gray gelding is 4 years old from Stone Cabin Nevada and is 14 hands. Also seems like a less reactive type horse.
And for you Small horse lovers...the black gelding is a 13.1 hand 2 year old from Antelope Nevada. He is a total baby!!!
All these boys are currently available and I start the gentling process tomorrow which is free to you..so you can take them home for $125 each after you complete BLM paperwork and I finish gentling them. Message me for sales app and instructions or more info. I just got them so I dont know much about personality yet.

This little once wild filly named Rebel needs a home. She was born in 2021. She was a contestant in this years Extreme Mustang Makeover in Ft. Worth. Her trainer is a 10 year old and you could hardly believe the transformation of this little Mustang. She leads, loads, ties, and Trots in hand..she does tricks like sitting and bowing and will stand up on a box and a teeter totter ..she does liberty work and is smart as they come. She is having a growth spurt and beginning to fill out. She string tests to be 15 hands full grown. She is located in Stigler Oklahoma. Please contact her trainer ( @ Claira Oliver ) for price and any questions. She is current on shots and coggins and deworming. Stands great for farrier too.

CHIEF RED CLOUD HAS A NEW HOME!!! Thank you so much to everyone who shared my post These short videos are of the trainer while she was aboard Chief Red Cloud while he was being started under saddle. He has since gained ALOT of weight... He uses a hackamore and sometimes a bosel with side rings because I choose to go bitless. He stops, turns, backs, Trots and lopes. He is a calm horse but needs more rides out alone to build his confidence. He can be the leader but fits in great in the middle of the string without being competitive too. The trainer is Lili Martin out of New Mexico (formerly the Tulsa area)and she has consistently produced kid broke, gentle, confident horses under saddle for me. You can tell by his training she did an excellent job with his foundation. Highly recommend her when You want one started soft, quiet and natural.

We are so proud of Edie Oliver and Rebel. They worked so hard and performed beautifully at the Extreme Mustang Makeover. Rebel is available for adoption reassignment...please share and lets find her a home!!!!
