It has been a crazy summer so far! There's been lots of travel, and we have been super busy in the salon. We are closed next week to give everyone a chance for a little summer break and try for some rest. We are starting to book 3-4 weeks out as we have some amazing show opportunities coming up that are taking the whole salon to Pennsylvania in September for a huge show with some of the best education of the year. We appreciate your patience as we do our best to get everyone in.
We have some very big exciting news coming with changes to the salon that Kat has been working tirelessly on. But for now, from her latest trip and a highlight to her year, showing her own bred by puppy Marcus at the cocker spaniel national, and winning an award of merit in their grooming competition. Stay tuned for more news over the next couple weeks!

Kat ran a quick turn around trip last week and spent 3 days in St louis picking up a 2nd place with her Kerry blue terrier. Then was in Canada the following weekend and got 2nd place again with an English cocker! So happy for her, and so happy she's back. Puppies!! We have been getting a bunch of new puppies lately and are loving it! Introducing puppies to grooming early helps set your dog up for a lifetime of successful, positive grooming experiences. We recommend a puppy intro groom at 10-12 weeks old, and grooming every 3-6 weeks to establish a relationship between us and your pup. What an amazing experience, Kat was invited to Intergrooms world championship invitational just outside New York City this past weekend. While she didn't bring home a placement, she went up against 24 other groomers from 15 different countries. It was such an honor to be invited and have a chance to travel there.

We hope everyone has been enjoying the snow! My Canadian dogs have definitely loved it. As much fun as it's been, we're making the decision to remain closed tomorrow, Thursday Jan 23rd. With predicted road conditions being icy and unsafe for everyone, we will be rescheduling the day.
