Meet Kacey, the 2-legged cutie pie! 😍
CARE stepped up to take in this sweet, adorable dachshund puppy who was born without front legs. We are not currently accepting adoption applications yet, as she is just getting weaned off the bottle, getting all her vaccinations and round-the-clock care. She may be special needs, but she is a strong willed and happy girl who is learning every day how to navigate her world. We are currently teaching her to use some temporary hand-crafted wheelchairs, but our goal is to raise funds that cover the costs of a professionally-built permanent wheelchair for her. With these funds, once she is available for adoption she will be able to go to her forever home with the ability to run and play using her new wheels. We know that Kacey deserves a fair shot despite her disability. Please share to help us spread the word! ❤️
