Please do not purchase this type of carrier. They are inexpensive but the door has a tendency to come off. Several cats have escaped in the past by pushing on the door.

Help! Our Community Pet Pantry is VERY low!

The Pet Pantry helps feed local pets whose owners struggle financially but wish to keep their beloved companions. A majority of pet pantry recipients are seniors, and many struggle with medical issues themselves.

Here are a few easy ways to contribute:
1.We can accept donations of pet food and provide you with a donation receipt at our office Mon-Thurs 10:00am-3:00pm.
2. Can't make it during those days/hours? We've got marked bins next to our front porch for easy after-hours pet food drop off.
* Please don't leave pet food on the porch at night. We've got friendly neighborhood raccoons who never fail to break into it for an easy snack. 😉

5. We're often asked if we accept open pet food. The answer is YES. As long as the food is in good condition, please tape it up and send it our way.

Cats walk on their toes so when a cat is declawed it’s an amputation to the first joint. Basically the toes are amputated. This changes the way a cat walks and over time causes arthritis to multiple areas of the cats body. Declawed cats often avoid the cat box because of pain in the feet and arthritis in the body….. Please do not declaw your cat 🐾

TOFU WAS ADOPTED. Calling all Siamese Lovers!!! Tofu (neutered male, 4 months) is available for adoption. Tofu is a special kitten who requires a patient and dedicated adopter. He needs a person as attracted to his unique personality as they are to his strikingly good looks. He needs an adopter who'll give him time as he adjusts to his new home, and one who'll fully appreciate the bond he develops with his family, while understanding he'll probably hide when company visits.
Tofu was a wild kitten at our office, but within days in his foster home, his defensive walls came crumbling down and the sweet lovebug began to appear. Tofu's even learning to fetch!
From his foster mom: "Since our kids are grown and gone, we have a very quiet house. Since we've had Tofu, we've learned he has the best manners. He loves to play chase especially if a feather is involved. He adores lap time and resting on your shoulders or chest. In fact, we've napped in the foster room and he slept on my chest and my husband’s chest/stomach area. He likes being picked up and loved on, and he enjoys gentle kisses on the forehead.
We feel he would flourish in a house with little commotion. No screaming children and few other animals. If you are looking for a loyal companion, Tofu is your kitten. However, if you're looking for a cat that will greet everyone who enters your home, he is NOT your guy. If you are looking for immediate gratification as you run to pet him, he's not your guy, BUT, once he trusts you he will love you tenfold!"
