When I say we integrate our puppies to our adult room as early as 8 weeks after weaning this is what I mean. They get to hang out and learn big dog behavior from our older dogs. We have p*e pads in the back and work on potty training outdoors. We teach basic commands like stay, lets go, and come on. Lights are out at 9:00 and back on at 8:00 am. They have play time from 9:30 am to 1:00pm with doggy door access to the yard and then we lock up at 1:00pm and let out again from 5:00-7:00. During play time they have access to the main house as well. These times do vary based on weather and current size of puppies. But that’s the average. I do kennel my dogs. But this is what I mean by that. All new babies are raised in the living room of my home till 8 weeks or till weaned whichever comes first. They are socialized with kids, cats and other dogs. This photo was taken tonight after a couple hours of in and out play time. Everyone uses the dog door.
