The rain makes sweet Betty sleepy.. so she will be snoozing until it passes 😴

Betty really hopes she finds her forever home this weekend. She will be at our adoption event tomorrow (8/3) from 11:00-3:00 hoping her humans find her. This cuddle bug will purr in your arms and curl up next to you when it’s raining, which will be perfect for the upcoming storms.

Betty also has that kitten energy too, so don’t be fooled! Come by and meet her tomorrow.

The bare essentials of each kitten who enters our program costs around $200. This doesn’t include our kittens who are sick and require additional medical expenses. This also doesn’t include toys, cleaning supplies, and other essentials needed to raise a healthy kitten.

Our adoption fee for all kittens is $100. This doesn’t cover the cost we incur from the animals in our care. We rely heavily on donations from the community and our wonderful volunteers.

Say hello to Ivy! 🧡

Hi, I’m Ivy and I’m one amazing 11 month orange girl. My adopter surrendered me very suddenly and I came back covered in fleas and with scabs, but I’m doing a lot better now. I landed in a super cool
Foster home and am getting all the love and attention now! My current foster mom thinks I’m the queen of orange cats.

I love attention, curious about everything, I will talk to you for hours, enjoy some Netflix on the couch and I even don’t mind other cats and nice dogs. I love chasing mice toys and eating yummy cat treats too. I’m the best girl and ready to be in my forever home.

Meet the roommates: Cody and Sinclair! 💕

Both of these boys are 3 months old and ready to go home today. They are total purr machines!

Cody is “one of the greatest kittens ever fostered.” He loves to sit on your chest and provide free purr therapy. He is playful, fun, and a total delight!

Sinclair is the last kitten in his litter to find a home and is impatiently waiting for it to be his turn. He runs up to his humans to be held and loves to play with his BFF Cody. Sinclair purrs the second you pick him up. He adapts easily to new cats and is such a laid back and loving kitten.

These two kittens are the best of friends and a wonderful pair. They aren’t littermates but would love to be together. Apply to adopt them on our website, and visit them at the Village Square Petco habitats today!

Bagel: a delicious pastry that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside 🥯

We have the best kind of Bagel available- an everything Bagel! Just like the treat, Bagel the kitten (11 months) pairs well with any breakfast. She loves all the pets and rubs you are willing to give. Just like most Bagels, she is best after she’s had time to “toast” or warm up to her new environment. Bagel is a special kitty who has waited a long time for her forever home. She would do best in a calmer environment where she can take her time to thrive.

Happy … where we are giving you updates on adopted SWK cats! This week we have an update on Leo who was adopted a year ago.

From his new family:

“Obsessed is an understatement. Leo turned 1 last week. He has 3 sisters and 2 brothers but he obviously picked the biggest cat in the house to befriend. He is the perfect addition to our house. We love this little meeper so much! 😻”

Meet Roxy! 🐈‍⬛

Roxy is one of Pebbles babies who is searching for her forever home! She is 11 weeks old and ready to go home today! She has her momma’s body: Petite and slender.

Roxy is just a ball of energy, she loves to play, cuddle, and jump! She is a little shy at first but then when she warms up to you, she will purr none stop, especially when you have food. The way to win Roxy over? Butt rubs!

Another great adoption event today where we stayed busy the entire time! 😻

We found homes for Oreo, Kania & Finder (together), Mocha & Caramel (together), Catalina, Asher & Wilma (together), Roma, and Vincent.

Since last weeks adoption event, we also found homes for Shiloh, Holly, and finalized Simba's adoption.

The Petco habitats are full with adorable tenants hoping they will be adopted next. Carla (pictured) is one of our longest residents but she’s hoping her family will find her soon. Stop by and see her during store hours!

Sweet mama Pebbles had her babies and they are ready to be adopted! They are the cutest little family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

Pebbles is the mama who has done a great job raising her babies. She’s a gorgeous, loving gal who loves pets and is constantly purring. She would be a great addition to your home.

Betty (black/white) is the “big” sister of the group. She has the energy of a lion and will follow you around wherever you go. She also is a purring machine.

Wilma (tortie) is a mini version of her mother. She’s very playful and adventurous. When she’s done bouncing off the walls she will snuggle in your lap.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with our Petco Habitat cleanings. We would give you all the tools and knowledge you need. And bonus points, you get to play with and hold adorable, adoptable kittens!

Finder and Kania are still looking for their forever homes! 👑

Finder (front) is an outgoing and playful boy who loves treats and climbing anything he can reach (including magical flowers, if available). He has two settings: tearing around the house and collapsed on your lap or next to a sunny window!

Kania (back) is a little princess, quiet and demure. It’ll take her a bit longer to warm up to her new castle but she loves spiky balls and spring toys. She’s very calm and never gets in trouble, perfect for an adult household.

These royal siblings will be at our adoption event this Saturday (7/27) from 11:00-3:00 hoping to get adopted. Come by and see them!

Gracie is still looking for her forever home! Will that be you?🥹

Miss Gracie is a calm gentle 14 month old girl. She is a short hair tabby with huge eyes. Although she doesn’t like to be picked up, she loves to jump in your lap for face and chin rubs and loves soft blankets to knead biscuits. She loves to play with string toys and exploring the patio. She sleeps with her fosters.

She would make a wonderful travel cat because she is leash and fully litter box trained!

Introducing Cinnamon! 🤎

Cinnamon is an adventurer, anything she finds she will find a way to play with, climb, or anything you can imagine! She will never fail to make you smile when you look over and see her doing something silly. Play hard nap harder is her motto, you may even find her taking a nap in the sink! She loves to join for movie night, cuddle up in bed, be held while you walk around, and make sure you’re all clean with lots of licks.

Wilma is a beautiful diluted female tortie who looks like her mother (Pebbles). She’s very playful, adventurous, loving, and caring. She loves to bounce on the walls, but when she gets tired, she will come and sleep in your lap. A big purr machine to say the least!

Introducing Betty!🐈‍⬛

Betty is a loving, caring, and sweet kitten. She’s only 3 months old but has the energy of a lion! She’s an independent, loyal, cuddly gal that has the loudest purrs. She’s a little shy at first, but then once she gets to know you, she’s all over you! She will follow you wherever you go.

Sweet Buck was a favorite at our adoption event yesterday but is still looking for his forever family. 🧡

Buck is a 3 month old male. He basically spent our entire adoption event being held and taking a nap. This boy is calm and adorable. He is very food motivated and loves treats and belly rubs from his chosen humans. He may appear shy at first, but once he comes out of his shell he loves to cuddle.

What an adoption event!

Today we found homes for Nala, Blizzard, Rocky, Blondie, Damia, Smokey, Louise, Lincoln, Olive & Noodle (together), and Hammy.

Since last adoption event, we also found homes for Daphne, Thelma, and Pow Wow.

We have some new tenants in the Petco habitats. Be sure to stop by and visit them. Apache (pictured) is one of our adoptable kittens in the habitats hoping to go home soon.

We had a successful event and look forward to doing it again next Saturday!💚

Caramel is a 3 month old female tabby who is spayed and fully ready to be adopted. She loves every person and animal she’s encountered. She is extremely affectionate and loves to rest on your shoulder. She would do great in any home!

Meet Catalina! 👁️

Catalina is an 11 week old orange female ready to go home. Yes, you read that right we have another orange female! Catalina only has one eye but that doesn’t slow her down. Her eye was removed when she was a sick baby, but it has healed nicely and she is back to her normal self!

Catalina is timid at first but is a total sweetheart. She’s in a foster home with dogs, cats, and other kids so not much scares her. She loves cuddles and does well with others.

Hi folks, I’m Shiloh! 🤎

I’m a 3 month old male looking for my forever home. My sister was just adopted so I am by myself in the Petco habitats, but hopefully not for long!

I am outgoing, super friendly, docile, and playful. I get along well with other cats so I am hoping my forever home has a playmate for me. I purr a lot because I am a very happy boy. I have a soft, raspy meow and normally have a lot to say, so sorry if I talk back sometimes! My ideal furever home has a nice comfy bed that I can sleep in right next to my humans.

We had a fantastic day at our adoption event yesterday! We said goodbye to Simon, Ptoleny, Winston & Relish, Lolli, Adele, Mimosa, Marren, Ellis Pop, and Aries who will be picked up from Petco today. We also finalized the adoptions of Teddy last week and Lucy Lou was adopted through the Petco habitats earlier this week. Petco is once again a full house with Nedjem, Ethel, and Tina joining Rowan & Moss, Talulah, and Aries. We also want to give a thank you to the kind person who dropped off kibble at the event yesterday. As you can see, your donations are keeping these hungry kittens fed so they can grow into strong cats! Thank you everyone for a very successful event and we will see you all next Saturday!😺
