ATTENTION Pet Parents!

A chemical used in Milk-Bones, Ol’Roy, Kibbles’n Bits, Hill’s Pet Food and other pet foods should no longer be considered safe for consumption due to concerns about its ability to damage DNA according to a new animal-model study.

According to the Environmental Working Group: “A scientific panel created by the European Food Safety Authority found that titanium dioxide “can no longer be considered as safe when used as a food additive.” The panel, citing concerns about titanium dioxide’s genotoxicity, or its ability to damage DNA, based its conclusion on a review of hundreds of scientific studies. EWG called on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to quickly consider whether to ban titanium dioxide from use in food."

A chemical that may damage our pet's DNA should not be fed to pets.

❤️🙏 RIP Sweet Smooch

For many years I’ve delivered to this pups house and each time she’d bark from their glass door like she was wanting to get out and chase the truck. Miss Smooch, has been in not too good of shape, can’t stand up well on her own etc…but owners are having a hard time to do what’s best. Just recently I waited for smooch to arrive home from a dog walk that she had a hard time doing, just so I could finally meet the this sweet girl I’ve been talking to through the glass not knowing if she liked me or hated the truck. I asked permission to say hello. She was so happy to see me it just made my heart melt. She lost her balance and I hurried and sat down to rest her head on my lap. She was so content and relaxed I didn’t want to leave her. I asked if I could carry her in the house and lay her on her bed in front of that glass door where she has been so eager to get my attention. As a UPS driver we get the privilege to meet some amazing animals that truly make our job(which can be difficult for one person to do at times) actually not hard at all. Her time with us is coming to an end physically but Miss Smooch my dear, I will never forget you and you will truly be missed❤️ you will remain in my heart always sweet girl🐾 07.2021 Helotes,Tx

If you have a dog🐶 or know someone who has a dog that seizures🤯 and they haven’t tried a diet change, they are truly missing out on the potential to reduce seizures in their pet!

This new study highlights when epileptic dogs had MCT Oil (derived from coconut oil🥥) added to their food, 71% of the dogs experienced a reduced seizure frequency. MCTs provide medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) and ketones as auxiliary brain🧠 energy and can reduce seizures in rodent seizure models, dogs and humans with epilepsy.

Multiple studies have shown that certain seizures frequencies can be reduced by changing to a higher fat/low carb diet (i.e. a ketogenic diet) and/or adding more clean fats to their dogs’ food, like MCT Oil.
