HSTB ALUMNI 🐾 Meet Nena, the 8-year-old queen of belly rubs and pure joy! 👑🐾 Since being adopted, she’s brought so much love (and laughter) to her new family. Don’t let her age fool you, this girl’s got s***k! Now that she’s settled in, her silly personality shines bright, and everyone who meets her falls in love.

She even has a new fur brother who absolutely adores her. Safe to say… she’s living her best life!

Our Pet Pantry is once again fully stocked for tomorrow, Saturday, March 22nd! We hope to see all of our regular customers, and please bring all your friends so everyone can enjoy! Lots of wet dog food, lots of wet cat food, lots of dog treats, lots of litter, lots of collars and leashes, big bags of cat food, big bags of dog food, and of course all the free bags to give away are all set up and ready!

THANK YOU SPCA International for providing us a grant to support our lifesaving work for the Tampa Bay pets after the hurricanes. They have provided funds to assist with the additional costs of caring for homeless animals after the storms and providing free pet food to support pet owners in the community through the Pet Pantry!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Greater Good Charities 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that we have received a truckload of donations from Greater Good Charities!
This incredible shipment, directly from Chewy, included 18 pallets filled with dry and wet dog food, dry and wet cat food, and plenty of litter... a total of 36,000 lbs of essential supplies for the animals in our care and our community. 🐶🐱

We are beyond grateful for this generous support, which will make a world of difference for our shelter pets and our community. Thank you, Greater Good Charities, for helping us continue our mission of saving lives and keeping our tails wagging!

ADOPTED ❤🐾 Rocko had been at HSTB for two months waiting to be adopted, and despite being a great dog, he was turned down by many visitors due to his size, energy, and breed. Until this weekend!

"We just lost our American Bulldog recently, and it's so hard to go from living with this companion to not having them anymore. It's such an impossible hole to fill, and we know that Rocko is not a replacement for our previous dog, but our lives aren't the same without one to take care of or keep us company. Rocko looks so similar to our old boy, and his one brown ear is so unique! He's super goofy, we can't wait to bring him home to our place. We have 3.5 acres, so he will have all the space to run around and explore. Even with his high energy, he's very gentle with food and knows what's too rough when it comes to playing."
