Cane toads, also commonly called Bufo toads, are highly toxic and if your pet comes into contact with one - immediate action is often needed. Take your pet directly to an emergency clinic and follow first aid measures. Remember, the Cane toad is also poisonous to people so do not touch the toad unless you have gloves on. The Urgent Paws staff persevered this week and opened their doors in spite of having no power!We will continue to help as many pets as we can and are planning to be open for regular business hours into next week. Thank you for your understanding that we are running on limited ability and we will keep you updated on any changes.

Urgent Paws is open today from 1-9 pm. We do not have power and are working with limited capabilities at this time. We do take walk-ins.

As we are all still recovering from Hurricane Milton, Urgent Paws Vet Clinic will be resuming regular business hours today at 3 pm. If you have any concerns about your pets, we are here to help in whatever way we can. We currently do not have power so we are functioning on limited capability and can only accept cash for now, but we will do what we can to help our community pets. Please continue to stay safe.
