My amazing breeder (not of Venom) and FRIEND @blindsidekennels caught this ADORABLE footage of me at @disneysprings working my service dog during a break from his super helpful job. (Excuse his very Malinois outburst of joy) While my health is pretty well managed I still have bad days. I’ve had two autonomic seizures this past weekend and Venom actually alerted to one today for the first time ever. I’ll be watching to see if he continues to exhibit this behavior so I can shape and reward it for more reliability. As our bond grows, he keeps managing to amaze me. 🥰

We got to witness some BADA$$ dogs during @johnk9_llc Haunted House Protection and Dock Diving event. 🎃 We had some hiccups with start times this weekend, and we are so grateful to everyone who was patient with us as the recent hurricanes set us back in preparation time.
Truly an amazing experience, and I cannot wait for next year’s haunted house. 🏚️👻💀 We hope to see you guys there!

Venom and I have only been to one protection training event in our lives together, and it was when he was 8 months old. We got the AMAZING opportunity to participate in @johnk9_llc Haunted House and I was over the moon thrilled that he decided to bite.
I got constructive criticism to teach me how to better handle my dog and learned so much.
Add in getting to witness the AMAZING dogs I got to witness who have incredible spirit and skill.
Today goes down as one of the best days I’ve ever had. I cannot wait for day #2. 💕

A #Wild #BabyDog out here learning how to #Herd #sheep @shepherdslanternherding . We drive #4hours round trip for these #lessons but they’re very much worth it. #Orion has been coming to Leslie since he was about #9weeks old. He will be #ONE in just a couple of weeks and I’ve loved every minute building his #confidence and watching him #grow and have #fun with #livestock. We’ve got a few more sessions of confidence building before we transition to adding more structure surrounding this job but he’s made such #AWESOME #Progress!

*DISCLAIMER* My 6 month old MAS is WEARING an e-collar receiver as we have begun e-collar conditioning. Neither the transmitter or receiver are powered on. To begin conditioning he will be wearing the e-collar receiver without any power for roughly a month before we move to phase two. The collar will go on when we go outside, do training, and play - to create a conditioned emotional response to wearing said collar!
