Thought I would share some new fish I just received in the fish room. Big thanks to Jimmy and Anne Walker for letting me have this small group. Originally they received these from Eric Bodrock via eggs. Very rare in the hobby, they get a brite yellow with a solid band of black down the middle of the body. They are Melanotaenia Sikuensis.

Hey everybody hope all is well after Hurricane Milton. Here’s a quick shot of Kali Tawa fry doing well. This fish however does not like outside hot temperatures! They prefer 76-78.

All you multiple tanks people out there, have you ever just forgot about a specific breed of fish that you put into a tank? You feed them and do water changes and just move on to the next tank, well yeah I did until today when I noticed how excited this small male was after a feeding. One of my favorites!!!

Happy Sunday everyone, so from my last post I have set up a tank for my female M. Goldiei Dekai to attempt to breed. I will feed her heavy with brine shrimp and blood worms for a couple days to fatten her up then add a male with her. As you can see she already is eating after only couple hours in her new surroundings.
