Dogs & cats can hear FIVE TIMES MORE than a human! With that being said, please be mindful of your pets with the New Year’s celebration. 🥳
1) Remain calm yourself—pets are in tune to our moods; if we get upset, they will too.
2) Ensure they are in a safe place inside the home; pets can potentially dig, get out, &/or lost, if they panic outside.
3) Turn up music or TV to help muffle the outside noises (or get hurricane rated windows 🪟)!
4) Consult a behavioralist &/or vet for any possible need for treatment options in severe cases.

Winter is here! Please make sure your pets dress warmly 🔥 if needed and try to keep them dry. Water 💧 should always still be available and check 🔍 their paws 🐾 closely for any chaffing. Keep antifreeze ☠️ away from all pets and kids too! Check around your vehicles (👏 gently make noise 🔊) for cats 🐱 trying to stay warm before turning your engine on. In general, pets should not be left outside unsupervised—if you’re cold 🥶, they could be too! 😌 Wishing you and your fur family a wonderful winter and happy howl-idays! 🐶

Tampa Bay Storm Season ⚡️ ⛈️ ☔️ is approaching, be prepared:
—Lightning can strike MILES away, if you hear thunder’s roar, stay indoors! (dog houses are NOT safe).
—Ensure your pets always have ID tags.
—Keep extra pet medications, food, towels, and essential supplies.
—Have back up plans with places that will accommodate your pet (keep copies of vaccine and important records).
