🐾 Welcome to Informational Friday’s 🐾 We have previously covered about hot spots but today we get to show you a bit more in depth of how bad it may get if not treated properly and in good time. The skin gets very red and irritated, the fur may clump up and sometimes get matted. We like to clip the hair to make sure we have a clean area to work with and when we send you home with medication you also have a clean surface to start applying the medication. We then like to scrub the area really well with saline flush and a cleaning scrub! Right after it will be even more irritated and red but that’s only for a short moment to make sure we have gotten to the skin!
