SENIOR OF THE DAY!!

This sweet guy is Jojo. Sadly, his momma was flooded by Hurricane Sally and lost everything she had and as hard as it was she had to surrender her pups because that is what she felt was the best decision. Jojo is a Chi mix. He was originally picked up as a stray a several years back. He was so scared you couldn’t hardly touch him. This boy has come so far. He’s still timid in new situations and needs some patience to get adjusted and comfortable but he’s the sweetest guy. He’s great with all size dogs and cats. Sometimes they play and chase the cats but never hurt them and will even eat out of the same bowl as them. Jojo May have a lot more gray than the original pic we were sent but this boy still has lots of years and s***k left. He’s a super sweet boy who is doing fantastic in his new foster home. Jojo is around 10 years old and 15ish lbs. He will use a doggy door and loves to go outside. Jojo is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered.

All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs.

Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up.

Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. We also have full-time jobs and Families. We will try to answer all questions and applications in a timely manner. Please be patient and bear with us . Do not contact Parkway Animal Hospital as they are a vet clinic and can not answer questions on behalf of Wags and Whiskers. All questions and comments must go directly through the rescue. Thank you for your understanding.

Message from Finder: Beautiful and clean guinea pig found at children’s bus stop at 6:30 AM Monday morning. Definitely belongs to a home, hope we can return him soon. The guinea pig definitely seems to be missing its family, until then he’s hanging out in our bathtub with shredded carrots and water :)
