As the festive holiday approaches, we wanted to remind you that our hospital will be CLOSED on Thursday for Thanksgiving Day. We will reopen on normal business hours on Friday.

Thanksgiving feasts can mean temptation for our furry friends, too! If your pet scores an ‘extra helping’ of turkey or gets into something they shouldn’t, don’t wait - our partner, UrgentVet, is here for quick, compassionate care to get them back on their paws fast. Today was our team meeting day!😸 Each month we train (or even retrain) so that we always stay top-notch. Today we had the one and only amazing cat whisperer, Lisa, teaching us how she works her magic with our feline patients!

It is that tie again! Time for COLAH's Annual PAWSgiving donation drive! We are supporting CATpassionate Village AGAIN!

CATpassionate Village is a non-profit organization caring for cat colonies here in the Tampa Bay area. We are honored to work with these incredible people who dedicate their days to this cause. From daily visits for feedings to veterinary care, CATpassionate Village provides a vital service to this community and all the cats under their watch.

ABOUT CATPASSIONATE VILLAGE

CATpassionate Village believes in a better world for feral cats and works towards that goal every day.

Our Mission
To build an effective and sustainable community of feral cat caregivers in northeast Hillsborough and southeast Pasco Counties (Florida) through education, tools and support that help end the overpopulation and suffering of homeless cats.

It’s been said that if you want to save 100 cats, get one spayed.

CATpassionate Accomplishments
• We were established in 2018 with the discovery of five kittens in Lutz, FL. We later became aware of an overwhelming number of feral cats needing food, water and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) and other vet care.
• Today, we have four feral cat colony locations in Lutz that we care for daily--twice a day. And, we help others in the area do what we do by providing them with education, tools and resources.
• As of October 2024, we have spayed/neutered and vaccinated over 400 cats.
• We support TNVR efforts in the greater Tampa community with time and money.
• When we can purchase pallets of cat food at a much reduced rate, we share with other feral cat caregivers.

Our work is only possible by the generosity of so many that believe in our work and care about homeless feral cats.
