We've got 4 tickets to Saturday's game at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and we're "pouncing" on the chance to auction them off to the highest bidder! 🙌🏼

To make a play for 2 tickets, drop your bid in the comments (if you want all 4 tickets please say that in your comment and if you have the highest bid you can purchase each pair at your bid price).

The auction ends promptly at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6. Payment is due via Venmo (preferred) or PayPal by 5:00 p.m., or we'll pass the ball to the next highest bidder.

Tickets will be sent directly to your phone through Alabama's ticketing system. You can "fetch" them there and scan at the gate.

Sweet kittens needing forever homes. A stray had kittens in a shed. Nice people took in the family. 3 kittens found homes. 3 kittens and mama (practically a kitten herself) still need homes.

A picture says a thousand words. This picture says Templeton is safe, content and well feed (note the dried food on his nose we have to keep cleaning🤣). He will receive the vetting he needs and we'll make sure he gets a good home.

Sadly, there are so many others who need our help. Every single day, we have to turn down kittens, cats, dogs and puppies. We simply don't have enough space and resources for them all.

We need our community's support. Adopt, donate, volunteer, and share our post. Spay or neuter the pets you consider family. Help others when able by supporting low cost spay/neuter clinics like the one coming soon to Limestone County PAALS - Partnership for Animals in Athens/Limestone .

It truly takes a village.

I know there were a lot of people concerned about the dog hanging out at the Corner of Nuclear Plant Road and Lucas Ferry in Tanner. He's safe and sound now!

Hey guys! Meet Rex! ❤️🐾 This sweet guy was seen several times at the store on the corner of Lucas Ferry and Nuclear Plant. We received a call about him. We searched for him but couldn't find him. We are so thankful to Mary with North Alabama Warriors for trapping him yesterday for us!

He is in need of a home, even if it's just temporary. We also need donations to help with his vet bills. We think he is around 10 months old and he is super sweet! Please reach out to us if you can help!

Our sweet Pana... our hearts are breaking for her today 💔 she was adopted last week and brought back today. She did not do well with their cat. But we want to find Pana a forever home so badly!

Pana was turned into the animal shelter last September. She was brought in as a stray. She became a Peace, Love & Animals dog when she was in danger of being euthanized at the shelter. She went to live at the rescue.

When we formed our rescue, CHFP, we wanted Pana to be one of ours. We thought we had found her the perfect home last week! We had cat tested her, but in a home, she was a lot more curious of the cat than she showed here at the rescue.

She needs a fenced-in yard, lots of love, and a cat free home! If you are interested in our sweet girl, please send us a message or go to our website and fill out an application! ❤️🐾

In the summer, our dogs get hot! It's hard for them to lay on blankets in the floor. It's so important for them to have a Kuranda bed to lay on and we haven't yet received one for every rescue dog and cat we have here at Bark Avenue Pet Resort! ‼️ Update on Duff ‼️ We found a wonderful foster for Duff for the weekend, however, this foster has learned some new things about this sweet boy that we need to share. And he can't continue to foster Duff or adopt him due to these things. We desperately NEED someone to step up who can foster or adopt this sweet boy!!

According to the foster, Duff can not walk on hardwood floors or concrete floors. He has a huge fear of doing this, so he freezes and will not move! So someone with carpet in their home is necessary ‼️

Also, Duff doesn't need to be around unaltered male dogs, however he does great around ALL other dogs and cats ‼️

He is a pretty picky eater, so if someone could have the patience to work with him on learning to enjoy healthy dog food ‼️

The foster stated multiple times that Duff is a wonderful dog and deserves a GREAT home, but he does have a few special needs.

We have the sweetest cats at the rescue!

In the Nick of Time! Meet Darlene! She was found in the very back of a dumpster moments before it was emptied. A nice man heard her crying and rescued her from a bad ending. Now she's part of our rescue family and we are grateful to kind people who give innocent souls the chance at a good life.

Happy Sunday! I would like to take a moment to reintroduce some of our Senior and Long-term Dogs at PLA. Some of these have been here for years and even their lifetime. We see them as amazing, loving and precious dogs. For some, it's little quirks that have deemed them unadoptable and for others, no one knows why they are still here. I will be sending out a post on each and everyone. All are over due on their annual check up and vaccines. Our hope is for just one to steal your heart and offer to sponsor their vet visit. It's heartbreaking for us when we have to wait on their care. Our funds are limited and when an animal is in a life or death situation, that has to come first. Featured Feline Friday! Meet Daisy. She was adopted from the Rescue 5 years ago and recently returned due to no fault of her own. She's been a little testy since she's been back, but that's understandable. One day she was in her home and next day she wasn't. She needs a loving home in which she can have her space to get adjusted. Do you have a home and a heart?

The Rescue has taken in a lot of cats and kittens. As you can see, we love them very much! We need help feeding them. We are almost out of canned cat food. We also need canned dog food, Clorox, laundry detergent and paper towels.If anyone could please drop some off at the Rescue, Coilplus in Athens (close to Steelcase), or order off our wishlists, we'd really appreciate it!
