In the 1800s, when travelers in wagons would pass through eastern NC, this farm was known to have the best-tasting water. We have had miniature, toy, and teacup Australian shepherds for 28 years. We became interested in the smaller breeds when we first saw them fourteen years ago. Beverly Woodcock of Grants Pass, Oregon was one of the first breeders of smaller Aussies. Her love of this unique bree
d inspired me to introduce this type of dog to the east coast. We found that they are identical to the standard breed but only a smaller version. Our bloodlines come from Wagontail, Rimfire Knight, Beamer, Rafter Bottle, Pruitt's, Driscolls, Lazy T ,Cactus Benchmark, Patchwork, and Fairplay. We have traveled the country to find these top bloodlines including the states of OR, WA, PA, NC, AL, KY, WV, and SD. Many of the offspring from our dogs are entered in agility competitions with some winning top prize. Our dogs and puppies are raised indoors and are walked on a large farm daily. They are socialized and generally good with children and other animals. We take all precautions for the health of each puppy. Their tails are docked, they are wormed, and have had all of their necessary shots from a veterinarian to ensure quality before each puppy goes to their new home. We've learned that, in the long run, saving a few dollars by doing it ourselves doesn't pay. The risk of obtaining an outdated vaccine and leaving the puppy unprotected against disease is too great.
