Kittens? We’ve got kittens plus an older girl who needs a good home too!

P***y and Spunky are siblings, and sweet as can be! They are bonded so will need to be adopted together.

Deidre was found at the Tarboro dog park, and was so scared!

Tommy is a sweet boy who would love to cuddle with you.

All these kittens are approx. 4 months old.

Lastly, we have St Michelle who was found at St Michael’s Church in Tarboro. She was fed and cared for at the church until we got her spayed. She is approx 2 years old.

All have been spayed/neutered, had shots including rabies, tested for FIV/Felv, flea treated, and dewormed.

Tarboro Trap, Neuter and Return will be at PetSmart in Rocky Mt on SUNDAY, September 1, 10:00am-Noon, with Fire House Six and several other kittens!

Little Fire House Six hitched a ride to Tarboro from Fire House Six in Rocky Mount in the tire wheel of a fireman’s truck! After all that, she got cleaned up, fed, loved up, vetted, and spayed, and now she’s ready to go to a good home. She’s approx 4 months old.

All the kittens have been spayed/neutered, had shots including rabies, tested for FIV/Felv, flea treated, and dewormed.

Toni is a sweet black panther and mama to Tahoe. Toni is approx 8 yrs old. Tahoe is a gorgeous gray girl and is around 7 yrs old. We’d love for them to be adopted together, but not mandatory. They are both so calm and loving, and would be great for an older person or family.

When it rains, it pours! Literally! With a foster house full of cats and kittens, one of the AC units decided to die. We’re hoping it can be repaired, but it is too hot to wait. Sue had to go and buy a window unit. So, we’re begging again, as usual, for donations of any amount. Crazy night at foster house.,been trying to trap two kittens and a mama cat in neighborhood. Finally got one and is partial feral and scared to death. Then received a frantic call about a kitten in danger and it ended up in isolation with other kitten., it just never ends. We are at our workable limit with space and isolation but extra work with these guys will help to move them into room with other kittens.

Folks please realize the shelters are full not only of cats but dogs and all of us rescues are licensed by the agriculture dept. and we have to follow their guidelines to allow us to continue to operate. We cannot handle it all.,it breaks our heart and we often buy the food , wet and dry, out of our own pockets. There is a solid group that faithfully drop food and other things on my porch and we could not survive without them,

We continue to need food, paper towels, laundry detergent and litter to help keep our heads above water. If you are able please drop these things off on my porch- 1109 St Patrick street, Tarboro N.C. or you can assist with our rising medical bills by helping with payment to Albemarle Animal Hospital and designate it to Tarboro Trap Neuter and Return.

Thank you all so much. Needs are great and we wish we could meet every one of them.

Tarboro TNR and Feline Friends got one of its older kitties adopted on Saturday! That
makes two older ones recently! So thankful for PetSmart in Tocky Mt being there and supporting weekly adoption events.

Many thanks too to all of you who have been dropping food, bags, new litter boxes, etc off on Sue Adams’porch..it takes a village too in order to care for these guys. We continue to need adult food wet and dry food. Thanks to so many of you, we have a gracious amount of kitten food for the next few weeks. Anything you want to donate — food, paper towels, laundry detergent, litter — please drop it off on Sue’s porch at 1109 St Patrick St, Tarboro, NC 27886. It is all so much appreciated! A huge thank you to all who participated in our annual yard sale last weekend! It is a huge undertaking, and a special thank you goes out to Lisa Pittman at Lancaster’s U-Store-It and Britt West at Westport Trading Co and West Furniture for helping us with storage and transportation. It was a major help this year!

A big shout out to our volunteers who worked literally into the night with setting up canopies and tables to cleaning up and returning borrowed items: Turner Jenkins, Sally Davis, Kat Bryan, Ellen Clark, Nancy Dreier, Janet & Doug Gant, Marc Ruffing, Sara Hanifin, Sue Adams, Rhonda Krebs, Dustin Van Fleet, John Clayton, & Price Miller. Exploring new furniture

A new piece of furniture was moved into the middle room for the kittens to discover and explore.

Sylar, Kentucky, Kansas and Kayla... because there just aren't enough videos of cats and kittens being cute on the Internet.

Kitties at the foster house having laser light fun this afternoon. Sorry about the ending... I don't know how to edit videos taken with my camera yet. We have several tween, teen and adult cats currently available for adoption and are willing to make deals in order to help them find furrever homes. It will soon be mating season followed by an over-abundance of little kittens being turned over to the shelters or worse - dumped around town. We won't be able to rescue them until we get our numbers down at the foster house. Please keep in mind that ALL kittens do become cats in a matter of months. Just because these kittens are no longer the size of tea cups doesn't mean they don't have plenty of personality and playfulness. Come give them a chance to win your hearts - you won't be disappointed!
