I breed Exotics and Persians. I have been breeding since 1990. I curently have 14 cats and 5 kittens. My litters are usually 1 to 3 kittens. I might have 10 kittens to sell a year maybe. They sell between 1000 to 2000. lets average it at 1500 per kitten. I go thru 12 30lb litters a month at 20$ a bag. 8 bags of dry food a month at 35$ a bag. 12 cases of canned food a month at 40$ a case. 5 Vet checks at 250$ per litter a year average. 500 in vaccines (i do them myself) per year. this doesn't count emergencies, hospitalizations, spays & neuters, specialized cleaning products, grooming supplies and shampoos, medications, supplements, microships, testing, new cats, registrations... add it up.
