Happy New Year everyone! Riften will be moving this year from Tarentum, Pa to our now permanent residence in Mayport, Pa. I will still of course, offer to meet as well as have delivery as options.

The cutest chunky babies. 🥰 These are all little girls. 2 Rex, 3 standard, and all Dumbo. Looks like blue agoutis, and blues. Blazed baby looks maybe blue beige. Possible silvermanes in here. ❤️ Mom is doing a lovely job for her first litter.

I would like to become more active on here as I restart. I'll continue to just share cute photos/videos and try to update progress as we go.

I recently got the cutest little marten girl. She is the sweetest thing, and not paying too much attention. I didn't realize she was already pregnant when I got her. Well, to my surprise, we have welcomed the first 9 babies into our fresh start here at Riften. The dad is obviously unknown as she just arrived not too long ago. I discovered her this afternoon and was confused when I heard the babies. Mom is the sweetest girl and so gentle. Super happy she let me check out her babies tonight and shows no signs of MA as of yet. Super excited to watch this litter grow and sew how they all turn out. I didn't look at genders yet or anything but at quick glance all appeared to have red eyes. I'll get photos soon of our new additions and foundations of the restart. 🥰

Just wanted to post an update. Last year was not a great year for us, and it continued into the first half of this year as well. After going through some really hard and challenging times, everything has since settled down for the time being.. I am hoping to start over and fresh with new lines in the next coming months. I don't expect to be open to the public for a while but hopefully if everything goes well with the restart we will have babies available sometime in the future. I will continue to post updates as we go.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported us in the past. Excited to start a new journey.

As of now Riften Rattery is closed until further notice. I'm not sure when or if we will open again. Thank you for the years of support. We appreciated each one of our rat families! ❤️
