Every patient she treats receives the highest level of attention, and her compassion shines through in everything she does.

Beyond her expertise, what makes her truly exceptional is the way she balances it all. As a dedicated mom, she shows us every day that it’s possible to excel in both career and family. She leads with kindness, patience, and empathy, creating an environment where everyone feels supported, lifted up, and valued. Her love for her team and career is unconditional.

Next, we have this special lady, Dr. Tejas! Dr. Tejas has been with the Anclote team for 3.5 years, and we’re so blessed to have her. She is an amazing veterinarian and a top-notch surgeon. She’s in her comfort zone in the operating room, but is also loved by clients and patients alike when she sees them in appointments. She’s got a wit as sharp as a tack, and a healthy sense of (dark) humor to go along with it! Dr. Tejas is small but mighty, and takes on the world with confidence and very little fear. She is empathetic and thoughtful, and absolutely loves being a veterinarian. If you love her just as much as we do, let her know with some sweet comments below!

It’s time to recognize our doctors! Up first is Dr. Ditson! Dr. Ditson is an incredible veterinarian! She is detail oriented and thorough, and leaves no stone unturned in her search for an accurate diagnosis and effective and safe treatment for her patients. She is wicked smart, and we jokingly (and lovingly) refer to her as “the walking encyclopedia”. She stores away knowledge and cases like a chipmunk with acorns in winter. She has endless empathy for her patients and their people, and is not afraid to stand up for what is right and advocate for her patient. Where would we be without our Madison? For those who don’t know her, Madison is our amazing Practice Manager (and Dr. J’s right hand lady)! She started here at Anclote several years ago, and grew from the role of technician to the best practice manager we’ve ever had, and one of Dr. J’s closest friends. She has a heart made of solid gold, listens to and loves on all the people she’s charged with overseeing, and keeps the books and the practice lined up tight. She has incredible compassion and world class empathy, going way above and beyond for our patients, clients, staff, doctors and the clinic as a whole. Always eager to jump in and lend a hand wherever it’s needed, Madison is a true leader, and leads this incredible team like she’s been doing this her whole life. Continuing our staff appreciation spotlights, next we’d like to recognize this team of ROCK STARS that keep the machine moving, our reception team! These ladies have a warm greeting for every client, juggle a constantly changing schedule, sick pets, grieving families, rowdy puppies and so much more every day, and they do it with a smile on their faces! They take some abuse from frustrated or worried pet parents, but manage to diffuse these situations with grace and empathy. They act as counselors, therapists, 911 operators, answering machines, and sometimes sounding boards. We couldn’t do what we do without them! Moving on to our kennel technicians this morning, we’d love to celebrate Kaelin! Kaelin is super sweet and takes such wonderful care of all of our boarding and hospitalized patients. She pays close attention to detail, keeps owners updated on their pets, and makes sure every animal in her care knows they are loved while their family is away. Kaelin also works as a technician assistant when needed, and does a wonderful job keeping nervous or scared patients calm during their exams or procedures.
