Hello everyone, we wanted to take a moment to update everyone on our current situation. As of Saturday, October 11, the town of Greenburgh has banned us from all Greenburgh parks. The final incident that triggered the ban was not a loose dog, damage to the park, an altercation with another park goer, or anything so exciting. It was our walker, quietly using the park to walk a group of dogs. We have already communicated with our clients about potential effects to their service. At this time, we hope to continue as close to usual as we can, but we expect to have delays this week as we are forced to drive further to avoid Greenburgh parks.

In the meantime, Jess has penned an open letter to all of our supporters and to the town. This letter explains who we are, why we started Westchester Wags, what makes us different, and what we suggest as an alternative to a ban on professional dog walkers. It also expresses our gratitude to all of our clients and supporters who have stood up on our behalf to fight this ban and the arbitrary 3 dog limit. We thank you again for your support and we ask that you take a few moments to read this letter if you can. We’ve also heard there is a petition floating around regarding this matter. We did not create this petition, but we so appreciate the support. If you can find this petition, please take a moment to sign and share it. Thank you all, this means the world to our little operation.
