We just wanted to let everyone know about our upcoming holiday hours:
Tuesday 12/24: open 9am to 12pm
Wednesday 12/25 and Thursday 12/26: Closed!
We will reopen for normal business hours on Friday 12/27.
Tuesday 12/31: open 9am to 12pm
Wednesday 1/1 and Thursday 1/2: Closed!
We will reopen for normal business hours on Friday 1/3.
If your pet is having an emergency outside of our open hours, please call or go to Easton Vet Urgent Care at 508 817 5088, or Bay State ER in Swansea at 508 379 1233.
We also want to wish all of our clients a safe and Merry Christmas, and a healthy and happy New Year!!

Blue Ridge Beef is recalling 9,600 lbs of their 2 lb log Puppy Mix Lot #08/06/N25 & 08/16/N25 UPC 854298001696 due to a contamination of Salmonella. (Lot numbers are stamped in the clips on the end of the chubs/bags)

Hello Everyone! We just wanted to notify everyone of our new prescription policy. As of today, 12/5/2024, we will now require a 24 hour notice for all prescriptions. Please keep this in mind when requesting medications. It’s best practice to call us when you have a week of medication left on the off chance we need to order your medications from a supplier. As always- any questions please call the clinic!

Gobble gobble! Hospital rat Bok Choy just wanted to make everyone aware of our holiday hours for this week. We will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will reopen Friday and Saturday for medication/food pickup from 9am to 12pm. We hope everyone has a great holiday!

We will be closed this coming Monday, October 14th, in observance of the holiday. Our Saturday hours are as usual from 9am to 12pm. That will be for medication and food pickup only.

Venus the hospital rat wanted to show off her favorite snack, peas in water! She also wants to inform every one of our upcoming holiday hours for the hospital! We are closed 8/31 and 9/2 in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen for regular business hours on 9/3 at 9am. If your pet needs medication or food, please call us today!

We want to thank our loyal clients for keeping us so incredibly busy! As a one doctor practice, we never seemed to slow down after Covid and for that, we are grateful. As many of you know, we have not been accepting new clients for quite some time now. This was not a decision we made lightly but to be able to cater to our existing clientele and patient load, it was necessary. We have been consistently booking out 6 to 8 weeks for wellness Doctor appointments and about 4 weeks out for technician appointments. Due to this, urgent/sick visits are extremely limited. With the rising demand for veterinary care, especially sick visits- we have started to utilize urgent care facilities more and more. While we understand the desire to see your regular veterinarian for all points of care, often we recommend urgent care facilities to be in the best interests of you and your pet. Veterinary medicine often mirrors human medicine, think of this as a similar situation. When your primary care physician is often booked out months, years even, they will refer you to urgent care facilities to get your concerns addressed immediately. While we do wish Dr. Cowe and the staff could see every patient no matter the reason, we do have to triage and prioritize your pet’s wellbeing as well as stay on top of our in-hospital patient care. The veterinary field has been ever changing in the wake of Covid and we ask for everyone’s understanding during this challenging time as it is becoming a “new norm” for us to refer to urgent care or emergency care when we are not able to see your pet. As always, if you have questions or concerns, please call the clinic and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have!

Venus here to update you on our upcoming holiday hours! We will be closed Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day! Now would be the time to get your food and medication refilled. We will be open Friday 10am to 4pm for food pick ups but we will not be filling new prescription requests that day as Dr Cowe will be out recovering from surgery.

With an entire week of scorching hot temps upon us, we urge everyone to be mindful on how they spend time with their dogs both outside and in cars. We especially want all brachycephalic breed owners (frenchies, pugs, bulldogs, etc.) to be extra mindful as these breeds are predisposed to heatstroke related emergencies!

Belle came in today to show off her new baby sister, Rosie! These girls were beyond sweet and definitely enjoyed some liver treats during their visit. We can’t wait to see how big Rosie gets!
