This probably doesn't even apply to any of my lovely clients that actually follow me but I'm going to post it anyway.

Effective immediately any client with a history of no shows or last minute cancellations will be required to submit a 50% non refundable deposit.

I lost 245$ of income this week due to cancellations and no shows. That's over a week's worth of groceries for me and I simply can't afford to lose that kind of money.

Dog Groomers: Grooming isn't just playing with puppies all day. Also dog groomers. . .

Here is a video of Buddy after his bath and part way through his blow dry. His coat is in excellent condition. You can see that there are no tangles or clumps of hair (indicating matting). You can see clearly all the way down to his skin even on his legs and underside. After his blow dry he only requires a few minutes of brushing and combing to set up his coat for his haircut. This is the condition your pets coat needs to be in if you would like anything longer than a 3/8 inch clip. This is not directed at anyone in particular. I'm just putting it out there so that my clients will have realistic expectations for their pet's groom. If I cannot get my wide tooth comb through your pets coat without it getting stuck I will be clipping it. There is no shame in keeping your dog in a short low maintenance clip. Not everyone has the time and energy to brush their dog every single day and that's ok.

Maximus needs everyone to know how he feels about bath time. And if you're wondering he feels the same way about the dryer and nail clippers. #doggrooming #dramatichusky
