Paws and Claws is ready to take care of your babies!!! Whether you just need a quick weekend getaway, daily check-ins while you're at work and vacations.
As always, plan ahead for the holidays that are coming up because we book fast!! We are here to take care of all of your pet check-in needs!

Current specials:
If you refer us and your referral books appointments with us you will get a free check-in!!!

If you book six visits or more you will receive one visit for free!!

Also I am starting to work on plans for a loyalty program where I will do Punch cards for every time that you book with me. So keep your eyes out for that!!!

I normally charge holiday rates for the following holidays:

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day
Easter
Memorial Day
4th of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Thursday (and Friday)

Holiday rates will show accordingly on the invoice.

If you have any questions about booking or need to book feel free to leave me a message on 737-708-4265 and also leave me a message that way if I'm out doing pet sitting and can't get to my phone I will see the message when I get back to my office.

Keeping your pup hydrated is always important - even more so in the hot summer months, given the heat ☀️ Look out for these signs from Chewy Vet Care, and make sure to:

💦 Keep water and a bowl handy, especially when you’re on the go.
🚰 If you're noticing milder symptoms like only tacky gums, offer them a small amount of cool water to drink.
📱 If you’re noticing moderate to extreme signs of dehydration, and has other symptoms, like lethargy, decreased or increased urination, vomiting or diarrhea, or they haven't eaten in 24 hours, call and make an appointment with your vet immediately.

Do not forget the males. Neutering can save their life as they will no longer roam long distances looking for females in heat and perhaps getting run over or suffering serious injuries.

Lovely Alita looks sad, and she has a reason to be. Yesterday, we took in 5️⃣9️⃣ dogs and cats—a staggering number for a single day. Our shelter is now overflowing, and we urgently need your help to save these lives.

🚨𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿:

𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗧 - All dogs weighing 30 pounds or more are just $10 to adopt. Starting Friday at 6pm during our and continuing through the weekend, all dogs will be free to adopt. If you can't come in today, make plans to visit us tomorrow night or over the weekend. But remember, the sooner, the better!

𝗙𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 - Even a short-term commitment makes a huge difference. If you can foster a dog for two weeks, a weekend, or longer, you can help us manage this crisis. We will work with you to find a timeframe that fits your schedule. Questions about fostering? Just ask!

𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗥 - With the influx of animals, we need more hands on deck. Your time and effort can improve the lives of every dog and cat here.

𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 - Simply come to the shelter to help. There is no pre-approval process! We are open from noon to 6pm daily at 1855 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown.

Please bring your babies inside

We can't do much for the free-roaming outdoor cats on July 4th (and often the days after it also) other than feeding them early and in some cases, putting a little Gabapentin in the food of a very anxious cat. But please do what you can to ensure the safety of your pets. They are depending on you to help them through this very scary time.

Busy busy busy here at Paws n Claws !!!!
Just some of my clients and yes I will watch lizards!!!! I also can watch your fish, I have experience with mice, bunnies, chickens, Ducks even turkeys!!!!
Oh yes and I have taken care of horses, donkeys cows one time and a pig!!!!!
