In 1998-1999 I worked under Sid, Master Groomer/Owner of Posh Pets in Shreveport, La. while working, I learned a lot of” tricks of the trade” and ultimately how to groom dogs.
In 2008, a Pekingese, named Max, joined our family and demanded daily grooming so, I decided to open ‘Bow-Wow Boutique, Pet Salon’ in Sarepta, La. I loved all my customers and their fur babies! I enjoyed seeing clean, happy dogs and the smile on customers face made this an enjoyable profession. However, due to my husband opening another business I decided to close the Pet Salon in order to help manage this other business.
In 2017 Carlos, a little white Chihuahua, entered my life inspiring me to re-open my Pet Salon, ‘Bow-Wow Boutique,’ in Taylor, Ar. My wonderful husband was gracious enough to give up his man-cave and help me turn it into a ‘pet salon’ so I am hoping to grow a good, local business with steady clientele so that I can one day pass the training and business on to my daughters, Jolie Wheeler and Emily Broom, My lil Pet Attendants, as I like to call them now ;)
