Great to see the students in the veterinary module from Spencer County Middle School today! We enjoyed the field trip, showing them around the hospital, and educating them on how things get done in an animal hospital. We are very excited to gift "River" the guinea pig, to the program for them to care for. Good luck to them and their veterinary pursuit!

We also offer Daycare, availability for a full day, half day, and even for just a few hours, whichever meets your needs.

Boarding within our Animal Hospital brings many benefits for your pet.

Pets have multiple interactive times throughout the day with our knowledgeable staff and Veterinarian. Also, we have 24-hour monitoring access with remote cameras.

For dogs, we have 3 different size runs ranging from 4′ x 3′ to 10′ x 3′. All dogs get let outside as frequently as possible in a fenced in outside run.

Free Treats Included for Boarding and Daycare!

While your pet is here with us, we can also provide other services such as bathing, grooming, yearly examination and vaccinations, as well as medical procedures, such as teeth cleaning, ear cleaning and flushes, spays and neuters. If your pet is not feeling well, our trained staff is on top of the issue, and we can treat for any health matter while you are away.

We provide all needs; food, water, bedding, and lots of love!

You may bring your pets own food if you prefer. Please have the food in a sealed container labeled with pet’s name. Also enjoy a picture of your pet during their stay via email or text.

Medicated boarding is also available for pets that need to be on their medicines while staying with us.

All pets must be up to date on all required vaccinations. Please make reservations ahead of time. We generally book quickly.

Enjoy the Thanksgiving Poem!

Family gather ‘round the table. Set with turkey, yams and dressing. Holding hands and bowing heads. Thanking God for every blessing.

Platters steaming, bowls are brimming. Dishes circle like a wreath. Though the tabletop is tempting, I’m drawn to something underneath.

At my feet I feel a tapping. A paw that tells me someone’s there. Perhaps they hope for a morsel. But instead, I say a prayer.

Thank you, God, for furry paws. That sweetly nudge and jump and run. Thank you for the tail that wags. Unceasingly, never done.

For ears that hear me drawing near. For the nose so cold and wet. The fur so soft (unless it rains). That’s warm and comforting to my pet.

For the eyes that tell me how they feel. And the gaze I never tire of. The tongue that kisses sloppily. The faithful heart so full of love.

Thanksgiving is a time of year. Acknowledgments abound. Appreciation multiplies, For loved ones all around.

So, I’m thankful for friends and family. And each gift God shall enable. And I’m thankful for my loyal pet. Who waits underneath the table.
