If you have been looking for a new companion, today is the perfect day to adopt one! Change a Pet's Life Day was started to bring awareness to the need of shelter animals needing a loving home. If you aren't looking to adopt, you can help in other ways. Volunteer at a local shelter, become a foster parent or even make donations - monetary or otherwise. They could all use the help. One of our favorite groups to work with is CAWS. They pull from high-kill shelters around the country. They give the pets the medical attention they need and then find them homes. Meet our new veterinarian, Dr. Harlow. We are so happy to have him as part of our team. He got his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009 from Mississippi State University. He also has a Master of Public Health and Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine.
He loves his job and French Bulldogs as your can see here. Dr. Harlow has one of his own, she's called Potato D'Au Gratin.
